Labor education plays an indispensable role in the all-round development of human beings.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Comrade Xi Jinping has expounded the importance of labor education in important meetings many times.In 2020,the state issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools and Primary Schools in the New Era"(hereinafter referred to as the Opinions)and the "Guidelines for Labor Education in Universities,Middle Schools and Primary Schools(Trial)"(hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines).These two documents have carried out overall deployment and specific planning for labor education in the new era,and have further improved the status of labor education in terms of policies.Universities,as the main front for cultivating outstanding talents for the comprehensive development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,must assume the main responsibility for the implementation of labor education.In the context of the new era,this article uses the "Guiding Outline" as a guide to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on labor education.Through the literature research method,the research situation of labor education by domestic and foreign scholars is sorted out,and the connotation of labor,labor concept,labor education and labor education in universities is defined,and the theoretical origin,basic content,characteristics and era value of labor education in universities in the new era are discussed.On this basis,this paper also adopts the questionnaire survey method to conduct research.Questionnaires were compiled and investigated in terms of cognition of labor education,labor education courses,practical activities of labor education,organic integration of labor culture into campus culture,status quo of labor education evaluation,labor education security and professional support.According to the obtained survey data,through the analysis of multiple response data analysis methods,we understand the current situation of labor education in universities,and conduct a comprehensive analysis of the effect,existing problems and causes of labor education in universities.Furthermore,combined with the "Guiding Outline" promulgated by the Ministry of Education,the countermeasures for developing labor education in universities in the new era are discussed.This study found that,through the use of multiple-response data analysis results,universities teachers and students’ cognition of labor education is gradually improving,universities labor education teaching is gradually being carried out,and universities labor education channels are gradually enriched.However,there are still problems such as insufficient awareness of labor education in universities,incomplete labor education courses,insufficient labor education practice activities,labor culture not organically integrated into campus culture,imperfect labor education evaluation mechanism,and insufficient labor education conditions.need to be addressed urgently.Therefore,when carrying out labor education,universities should continuously enhance the effect of labor education in universities by strengthening the cognition of labor education in universities,building a practical system of labor education in universities,improving the mechanism of labor education in universities,and improving the conditions of labor education in universities.exert its nurturing effect. |
