| Interpersonal adaptation is the psychological ability formed by individuals in order to meet the communication needs in the process of social interaction and achieve a relative balance between themselves and others in the process of getting along.Poor interpersonal adaptation has a negative impact on the mental health of rural left-behind children,which is not conducive to their growth and development.This study consists of two parts.The first study uses parent-child communication Scale,Gratitude Scale and Interpersonal Adaptation Scale to investigate 1011 junior high school students in Hefei and Lu ’an of Anhui Province,including 563 left-behind children in rural areas,to explore the relationship among parent-child communication,gratitude and interpersonal adaptation.In the second study,36 left-behind children in rural areas were selected as the research objects,and group psychological counseling was adopted to intervene in the interpersonal adaptation of left-behind children in rural areas.The results are as follows:1.The levels of parent-child communication,gratitude and interpersonal adaptation of left-behind children in rural areas are significantly lower than those of non-left-behind children.2.There is no significant gender difference in parent-child communication among left-behind children in rural areas;There are significant differences in grade,class leader,type of parents going out and frequency of communication with parents.3.The gratitude of rural left-behind children has no significant difference in gender and type of parents’ going out;There are significant differences in grade,class leader and frequency of communication with parents.4.There are significant differences in interpersonal adaptation of rural left-behind children in gender,grade,class leader,type of parents’ going out,and frequency of communication with parents.5.There are significant positive correlations between parent-child communication,gratitude and interpersonal adaptation among left-behind children in rural areas.Parent-child communication and gratitude can significantly positively predict interpersonal adaptation,and gratitude plays a partial mediating role between parent-child communication and interpersonal adaptation.6.Group psychological counseling can significantly improve the parent-child communication quality,gratitude level and interpersonal adaptability of rural left-behind children. |
