As a national top-level education form,the quality of talent training of graduate education determines the direction and quality of national development.With the continuous expansion of the scale of graduate education in China,the problem of education quality has attracted general attention from the country,society and academic circles,and the decline of training quality cannot be ignored.As the core of the training of innovative talents in higher education,the training quality of graduate students,especially academic graduate students,largely depends on the training quality of their scientific research ability.We must pay attention to the cultivation of graduate scientific research ability,and it is urgent to improve the status quo of scientific research ability.Firstly,on the basis of collecting literature related to graduate deep learning and scientific research ability,the research found the inadequacy of the existing research based on the practical background and practical considerations,pointed out the necessity and feasibility of this study,and laid the foundation for the development of the subsequent research.Secondly,the theoretical research framework part mainly the three key concepts in the study,namely academic master,deep learning,the connotation of the boundary,and made clear about the learning investment theory,multiple intelligence theory and self-determination theory as the theoretical basis of this study.This provides the corresponding theoretical support for the development of the research and the proposal of suggestions.Then,based on the analysis of the previous article and literature,we propose a reasonable research hypothesis,design the questionnaire and interview outline,determine the survey objects and implement the survey,collect relevant data,and conduct relevant mathematical statistical analysis.Thirdly,combined with empirical research and qualitative data analysis,to explore the influence relationship of deep learning on scientific research ability.Explore the reasons from the internal and external factors of individual learning motivation.Based on this,the paper constructs the influence path of deep learning on scientific research ability.The research results find that the current level of deep learning and scientific research ability of academic masters are both above the medium level,but the level of scientific research ability is slightly lower.In terms of the performance of each dimension of deep learning,the emotional dimension is obviously lower than the cognitive dimension and the behavioral dimension,and the performance is weak,and there is still a large space for improvement.In terms of the performance of various dimensions of scientific research ability,the dimension of data collection and processing is the best,while the dimension of innovation ability is the weakest,which provides a starting point for understanding the current learning and life status of academic postgraduates.The empirical test results verify that each dimension of deep learning has a significant positive effect on the scientific research ability of academic postgraduate students,among which the affective dimension has a greater impact,and the cognitive and behavioral dimensions play a partial intermediary role in the affective dimension’s influence on the scientific research ability.Finally,based on the theory of learning engagement and self-determination,this study proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from institutions,teachers and individuals from the perspective of internal and external motivations affecting individual behavior.It is hoped to provide enlightenment and reference for how to improve the quality of academic postgraduate training in Chinese universities.
