| As the top of China’s higher education,graduate education is the core element of implementing innovation driven development strategy and building an innovative country.Without strong graduate education,there will be no strong national innovation system.As a coastal,border and ethnic region,Guangxi should give full play to its own characteristics and pay attention to the development of graduate education,especially the cultivation and improvement of the core quality of graduate scientific research and innovation ability under the background of innovative national construction,the development goal of strengthening higher education and the high-quality development of graduate education.Based on the theory of self-determination and the theory of research and training environment,this study combs the literature on the definition,evaluation and influencing factors of Postgraduates’ scientific research and innovation ability,adjusts the appropriateness of the evaluation scale of Postgraduates’ scientific research and innovation ability and the scale of university training environment,and constructs the influencing factor model of academic Postgraduates’ scientific research and innovation ability.Taking Guangxi Universities in the western minority areas as the research focus,and taking the academic Postgraduates of three universities in Yong as the survey object,583 survey data were collected for statistical analysis.The results show that: first,the research and innovation ability of academic postgraduates in Guangxi universities is generally not high.Second,the difference analysis results show that there are significant differences in the research innovation ability of graduate students and their subordinates in the guidance style of supervisors,project participation,graduate motivation,discipline background,grade and time of research activities,but there is no significant difference in gender.Thirdly,the results of influencing factor analysis show that,according to the degree of influence,the academic atmosphere(β=0.539),tutor guidance and support(β=0.267),cultivation mode(β=0.266),cultivation philosophy(β=0.178)and hardware resources(β=0.174)in the cultivation environment of colleges and universities,All of them have a significant positive impact on the research innovation ability of graduate students.Fourthly,some factors in the cultivation environment of colleges and universities have a significant positive impact on graduate students’ ability to produce results,discover problems,analyze problems,solve problems and construct knowledge.Based on the current situation and existing problems of Postgraduates’ scientific research and innovation ability,combined with the results of empirical analysis.From the perspective of colleges and universities,it is proposed to tolerate errors and encourage innovation;Build a collaborative training platform;Improve the course content and structure;Promote research teaching;Improve the level of scientific research hardware;Create a good academic atmosphere.From the perspective of tutors,it is proposed that tutors should optimize their guidance methods and give full play to their academic leading role;Encourage scientific research practice by relying on subject training.From the individual level,it is proposed that postgraduates themselves should improve their learning autonomy and actively participate in scientific research activities;Correct scientific research motivation and improve scientific research focus. |
