Social Work Project Research On Behavioral Adjustment Problems Of Adolescents With Intellectual Disabilities

At present,among the disabled groups in China,teenagers with intellectual disabilities are a vulnerable group.While mormal teenagers are feeling the tolerance and warmth of the society,some of them are idle at home,some are unattended,and some are studying in special education schools.They lack the care and care from their families,the care from the community and the social tolerance.When a problem is encountered,there is no one to solve it and no attention from the formal and informal systems around.The group of mentally retarded teenagers is faced with many problems in both physical and psychological aspects.To take appropriate methods to intervene in the current situation of mentally retarded adolescents,to solve the specific problems they encounter in a certain aspect,and to improve their ability in relevant aspects,has an important impact on promoting the physical and mental health,long-term development of mentally retarded adolescents,as well as the harmony of the whole society.Through literature review,it is found that the relevant work on the disadvantaged group of mentally retarded adolescents is relatively lagging behind,which is reflected in insufficient attention to the adaptive behavior of mentally retarded adolescents and the lack of similar project experience.Evaluated using the method of social work intervention,this paper analyses problems to the service object,by the method of group work,overall make plan and specific goals,designs for the mentally retarded teenagers give priority to in order to promote adaptation ability of project activities,so as to explore the feasibility of the development model to intervene,group work intervention methods and techniques and the effect of intervention.Evaluate service effectiveness through process evaluation and result evaluation,reflect on the deficiencies in service,discuss the advantages and disadvantages of project service,and put forward Suggestions for improvement.
