Research On The Involvement Of Social Workers In Low-rent Community Residents’ Integration

With the continuous adjustment of China’s economic structure and accelerating urbanization,a large number of low-rent housing communities have emerged.However,the low-rent community has the characteristics of large flow of people,the majority of vulnerable groups,the aging of residential groups,the low economic income of the population and the low cultural quality of residents,which leads to the governance of low-rent community can not use the governance model of ordinary residential community.In this context,the "Five Communes Linkage" governance model arises at the historic moment.In the governance of low-rent communities,the social work in the "Five Communes Linkage" is an important driving force,and the thought of the Five Communes Linkage is the governance direction.As a professional tool of social governance,social work participates in the process of the integration of residents in low-rent communities.What factors affect the feasibility of the intervention? What approaches can be explored to achieve the effectiveness of social worker intervention? At the same time,what are the values and limitations of social workers’ involvement in the integration of residents in low-rent communities?In response to the above problems,this paper takes the "Beauty as Neighborhood" project of Q Community as an example,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of social workers’ involvement in the integration of community residents through the unstructured interview method and participatory observation method.Design project scheme;Conduct practical intervention and evaluation of the project according to the scheme;Based on the above practical studies,it is found that government policy support,professional theory fit,the basis of residents’ integration and the basis of early service are the feasibility factors affecting social workers’ intervention.The path to achieve good results of social workers’ involvement in the integration of residents in low-rent communities is to investigate the comprehensiveness of residents’ needs,design project schemes reasonably,promote the integration process in different levels,carry out integration activities in multiple dimensions,and actively participate in the individual residents.The value of social work involvement in the integration of low-rent community residents is to increase the way to improve the relationship of low-rent community residents,to enhance the sense of community identity of low-rent community residents,and to promote the establishment of community in low-rent community.Limitations include the short duration of the project,the limited scope of residents exposed to activities,and the slow progress of integration.
