Educational decision-making,implementation,and supervision are the three main aspects of education management.Educational supervision is a key link in the operation of these three aspects,and a necessary means to ensure that educational policies and implementation are not out of shape or deformed.However,in recent years,the new era has put higher requirements on the high-quality and balanced development of education,and education supervision has exposed more and more problems,which is not conducive to the healthy development of education.Therefore,this paper mainly analyzes and discusses the current predicament of education supervision,and tries to find the causes and countermeasures,in order to optimize and improve education supervision and promote the sound development of education.It is possible and necessary to apply governance theory to educational supervision.From the perspective of governance theory,this study grasps the characteristics of pluralism,democracy,efficiency,and rule of law in governance theory.By means of literature analysis,interviews and investigations,and case study methods,a field study is carried out on the basic status quo of the current educational supervision work in District C of Chengdu.Try to answer the research questions such as the responsibilities and powers,organizational structure,work content and process of the education supervision in District C of Chengdu,as well as the current difficulties faced by the education supervision in District C,and the possible causes of the difficulties.This study found that although the education supervision in C district of Chengdu city has achieved certain results,it is still in a predicament from the perspective of governance,mainly manifested in four aspects: low degree of institutionalization and standardization of education supervision,difficulty in multi-governance,lack of process democratization,and low efficiency of supervision.All kinds of difficulties are the result of the joint action of many reasons.From the perspective of governance concept,the negative part of traditional concept brings influence.From the perspective of governance system,the restriction on power is limited;From the perspective of governance ability,the professionalism of the educational supervision team has not been well developed;From the perspective of governance environment,the degree of legalization of educational supervision is insufficient and the environment of multi-subject participation is still immature.In view of the above difficulties of education supervision in District C of Chengdu,this study puts forward countermeasures,mainly including updating the service concept of education supervision,strengthening the construction of the rule of law in education supervision,improving the system and mechanism of education supervision,realizing the pluralistic co governance of education supervision,building a professional authoritative supervision team and improving the efficiency of education supervision,It is hoped that it can help the education supervision in area C out of the dilemma.
