Community Participation Issues And Social Worker Intervention Strategies For The Younger Elderly

As the “Young people”in the old group,the young people not only have time and energy,but also have good physical and cultural quality,and gradually become an indispensable force in the development of the community.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is a trend to mobilize the aged to participate in the community,which is also in line with the trend of active aging.But under the influence of many factors,such as the younger elders themselves and the external environment,the community participation of the younger elders is not ideal.Based on this situation,this paper selected the young elderly in J community of west coast new district of Qingdao as the research object.The survey found that J community in the community participation of the young elderly have their own advantages,as well as the advantages provided by the external environment.However,there are also some problems such as low participation,double imbalance of participation and self-interest.The reason behind is that the concept of community and community participation is vague,the advantage has not been fully explored and the resources of community participation are insufficient.Under the guidance of the dominant perspective theory and the activity theory,the author used the development group model to carry out professional intervention at the level of the young and old,and designed and implemented seven group activities,in the group activities,we help the elderly to understand the concept of community and community participation,identify their own advantages,learn new skills,and enhance the community participation of the elderly in the group.Finally,it is concluded that the development model group has a significant effect on enhancing the community participation of the young elderly,and the high-density link evaluation in the group operation is more conducive to enhancing the effectiveness of activities.At the same time,there are some limitations in the involvement of group work in the community participation of the elderly,mainly reflected in the impact of the involvement of group work and the extension of the test,the level of the involvement of the group need to be further deepened.Faced with the limitations of the study,the author tentatively proposes the establishment of community self-organization for the younger age group,the establishment of a long-term evaluation mechanism,and the level of involvement of the group that links up the formal resources of the community,it is expected to explore an effective way for social work to promote the community participation of the low-aged.
