Research On The Influence Of Intellectualization Of China’s Manufacturing Industry On Labor Income Share

Along with the rapid development of computer and communications industry,artificial intelligence technology application present explosive growth,various countries have already layout ahead of time,take the opportunity of intelligent manufacturing industry,in May 2015,the State Council formally issued by the "made in China 2025",start the manufacturing strategy as a formal development goal,comprehensive deployment of implementation of the programme of action,to achieve the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the traditional manufacturing.However,with the continuous deepening of the industrialization process,whether to increase the labor productivity and reduce the gap between the rich and the poor has become the focus of the whole society.At present,an important problem in China’s income distribution is that the proportion of labor income is too low.From industry level,manufacturing labor income low proportion of labor income share is low are the an important reason.Based on the labor income share of manufacturing industry,this paper discusses the impact of the application of new generation of technological innovation such as artificial intelligence on the labor income share of manufacturing industry in China in the post-industrial era.Based on the technical progress of the Marx’s "das kapital" scale effect and substitution effect as theoretical basis,constructed under the framework of intelligent manufacturing,the scale effect and the substitution effect mechanism,and combined with intelligent segmentation element,path analysis,intelligent segmentation elements include: industrial robots inputs,communication and electronic equipment inputs,such as computers,services,software and information technology support elements and government support four aspects.This paper uses entropy method to calculate the change trend of China’s manufacturing industry index and labor income share,and constructs an econometric model to empirically study the influence of intellectualization of manufacturing industry on labor income share of China’s manufacturing industry from the perspectives of overall intellectualization and intellectualization subdivision elements of manufacturing industry.The main conclusions are as follows :(1)on the whole,the intellectualization level of China’s manufacturing industry is still on the rise,although it fluctuates in some years;The provincial calculation results show that Guangdong,Jiangsu and Beijing are at the top of the overall ranking and can be developed into intelligent manufacturing demonstration areas,while Ningxia,Hainan,Xinjiang and Qinghai provinces have poor intelligent development in manufacturing and need to be improved through various ways.In terms of regions,the overall trend of intelligent manufacturing in China’s four regions is on the rise,but there are great differences among regions,presenting an obvious pattern of differentiated distribution.(2)Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2007 to 2017,the relationship between the intellectualization of China’s manufacturing industry and the labor income share of manufacturing industry is investigated.From the overall perspective of intellectualization of manufacturing industry,with the continuous development of intelligent manufacturing,the labor income share of manufacturing industry will play a significant role in improving.(3)From the intelligent segmentation element level,industrial robots use quantity increasing lowers manufacturing labor income share,communications,computers and other electronic equipment investment increasing lowers manufacturing labor income share,software and information technology services,increasing function of intelligent manufacturing support will increase manufacturing labor income share,government support elements promote the development of intelligent manufacturing continuously improve labor income share.
