As one of China’s important economic goals,employment has always been the concern of the people.With the development and progress of science and technology,artificial intelligence has begun to integrate into all aspects of social production,which impacts the economy and employment deeply.The development of industrial robots,an important branch of artificial intelligence,has been increasingly mature.They are gradually capable of replacing human resources on a large scale and have been applied to production activities.Therefore,the employment contradiction in China has gradually become prominent,especially in the manufacturing industry.Manufacturing industry is an important part of China’s national economy,contributing 29.3% to China’s GDP in 2017.By the end of 2018,41.783 million people were employed in manufacturing units in China’s cities and towns,accounting for24.2% totally.Manufacturing industry has been playing an important role in solving employment for quite a long time.Among them,low-tech manufacturing has always accounted for a large proportion of my country’s overall manufacturing industry,and it is also a guarantee for promoting national employment.The large-scale application of industrial robots will make low-tech manufacturing suffer a huge impact,which will cause structural problems.Unemployment,so it is of practical significance to deal with employment contradictions in the process of developing artificial intelligence to achieve a steady economic transformation.Based on the above background,this article used the literature analysis and empirical study,combing the domestic and foreign scholars for industrial robot application on the employment of low-tech manufacturing labor force,on the basis of related research,further explores the current status of industrial robot application status and low-tech manufacturing employment,through the existing theoretical basis for research,the industrial robot application reference regression analysis for the influence of the quantity and quality of low-tech manufacturing labor employment,found that the industrial robot application will have a significant negative impact on the number of low-tech manufacturing employment,at the same time also negatively related with lowtech manufacturing wages.Then,based on the gray model,Python 3.7 is used to predict the future application trend of industrial robots and the number of employment in lowtech manufacturing industries.It was found that the application of industrial robots and the number of laborers in low-tech manufacturing industries maintained a growth trend,and the number of laborers in low-tech manufacturing industries was annual.The average growth rate is significantly lower than the growth rate of industrial robot applications.Combining with the current difficult employment difficulties faced by highly educated talents,it is conceivable that in the next five years,highly skilled employees will not be able to meet the labor demand brought by industrial intelligence,which may bring about the labor market In response to the situation where the supply of highly skilled talents exceeds demand,the results of empirical research are used to give corresponding policy recommendations.
