Fully governing the country according to law is an essential requirement and an important guarantee for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics,and an inevitable requirement for modernizing the country’s governance system and governance capabilities.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has published a series of important expositions on the construction of a country ruled by law,and from a Marxist standpoint,he has attached great importance to and elaborated on the important status and role of rule of law education.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that to "adhere to the comprehensive rule of law",it is necessary to "improve the rule of law literacy of the whole nation." As the future of the country and the hope of the nation,college students are a new force in advancing the practice of comprehensively governing the country by law.Strengthening the cultivation of college students’ legal literacy is an inherent requirement for building a socialist country under the rule of law,a practical need for practicing socialist core values,and a strategic need for cultivating newcomers of the era.This article takes the cultivation of the rule of law literacy of college students from the perspective of comprehensive rule of law as the core proposition.First,it defines the comprehensive rule of law and the rule of law literacy and other related concepts,and expounds Xi Jinping’s rule of law thought,Marx’s theory of the all-round development of people,and coordination.Theory etc.Then,it systematically discusses the relationship between the comprehensive rule of law and the legal literacy of college students,and analyzes the necessity of cultivating college students’ legal literacy.Secondly,it summarizes the research methods used in the thesis and the process of questionnaire design and data collection,and analyzes the basic data of the questionnaire with the help of descriptive statistics and reliability and validity testing methods.Thirdly,from the overall legal literacy of college students and their different dimensions,analyze the status quo of college students’ legal literacy and analyze the differences in gender and grade.At the same time,from the perspective of the subjective perception of college students,use the Likert five-level scale to measure school,The degree of influence of society,government,and family on the improvement of college students’ legal literacy.Finally,according to Xi Jinping’s rule of law,Marx’s theory of all-round development of human beings and coordination theory,construct a “five in one” collaborative education that is guided by the government,led by the school,supported by the society,based on the family,and the main body of students.
