A Research On The Cultivation And Promotion Of College Students’ Literacy Of Rule Of Law

Along with the comprehensively deepen reform and the rapid development of various undertakings and progress of Chinese society, the demand for the rule of law increasing year by year. China established the strategic target of socialist rule of law, which further promote the process of governing the country according to law. Enhance their awareness of the importance of the rule of law, become a target for the important task of building up the Chinese rule of law. College students are heirs and successors for the development of China and their literacy of rule of law affect the construction of the socialist rule of law. Therefore, it has an important significance for truly achieving the construction of China’s socialist rule of law that research the gap between demand of the rule of law society and the current situation of college students’ literacy of rule of law. Deep analysis of the problems and the influences for the cultivation and promotion of college students’ literacy of rule of law, take appropriate measures to improving college students’ law consciousness, cultivating college students’ law behavior, setting up college students’ belief of the rule of law.Firstly, the paper discriminates "rule of law" form "legal system" on the concept, and expounds the elements of college students’ literacy of rule of law and cultivating characteristics of college students’ literacy of rule of law. Secondly, through empirical investigation and research, it finds the reality in the process of cultivation for college students’ literacy of rule of law, and analyzes the influence factors of the rule of law literacy cultivation to university students. Finally, on the basis of learning the experiences and lessons from Hong Kong’ and Taiwan’ and foreign countries’ rule of law education, the paper emphasizes that the present colleges and universities should be clear the targets of the cultivation of college students’ rule of law, enrich the contents of the cultivation of college students’ rule of law, perfect the approaches of the cultivation of college students’ rule of law, and optimize the environment of the cultivation of college students’ the rule of law, in order to improve the effectiveness of the rule of law literacy cultivation. Shape students’ character of the rule of law and the rule of law spirit in the rule of law education, to promote the construction of the modernization process for socialist rule of law.
