Research On Group Work Intervening Impoverished Young People In The Perspective Of Asset Construction

The problem of poverty has always been one of the most acute problems in the world.It is gradually intensified along with the process of industrialization and urbanization.In China,it is mainly manifested as the rural poverty caused by resource inequality,and the weak and poor caused by the integration of law with urban development after the rural population moves to the city.Since the reform and opening up,great achievements have been made in China’s poverty alleviation work,which is guided by the policy of guarantee and aid.Since1980,China established a special poverty alleviation fund,marking the formal establishment of China’s transfer payment poverty reduction system.In 2020,China declared a complete victory in poverty alleviation.However,the root of poverty is deep and complex,absolute poverty may turn to relative poverty,and the focus of poverty alleviation work will also focus on the ability to help the poor.Since Professor Shenorden put forward the theory of "asset construction" in his book "Assets and the Poor",the academic research on poverty has gradually moved towards the localization of "development-based" relief.Based on this policy environment and theoretical basis,this paper puts forward the imagination of the development intervention of social work for the poor youth population,in order to enrich the practical intervention perspective of China’s poverty alleviation work and promote the friendly policy advocacy.This research adopts qualitative research methods,for the poor youth groups,status quo of their assets to native capital,education opportunities,social support and skills talents four dimensions of descriptive analysis,and in-depth analysis of this group are faced with the problem in the process of asset building,influence factors and asset demand,explore the poor youth assets construction ability and the relationship between the change of poverty,and then design the four dimensions on asset construction practice in project,improve the capacity for social work intervention poverty to find new breakthrough ideas and practiceIt is found that the native capital of poor youth leads to the tendency of "poverty culture" in their families,which leads to the limited educational opportunities of poor youth.At the same time,the poor youth’s social support is generally low,the relationship with the family of origin is generally weak connection,and the relationship network with the peer group is alienated.In addition,the weakness of poor youth is also manifested in the lack of various material and information resources,and the lack of intervention services from social organizations.Finally,due to the lack of developmental education,poor youth lack human capital such as skills and expertise,and are marginalized in social participation.This study mainly involved in the asset construction and promotion of poor youth through group work method,and meanwhile adopted long-term online lectures and resource link methods built by youth volunteer service platform to consolidate asset capacity and achieved certain results.The interviews also show that if the project design can be fully and effectively implemented,it will have a long-term and stable effect on improving the poverty situation of poor youth.Finally,the author according to the research situation and group practice as a result,the three combined with social work methods,social policy,and social organizations,community,family and other fields,from the original family,education opportunities,social support,skills,talents,four aspects of idea,construction of the situation to improve the poor youth assets assigned to 4 d practical path.
