For a long time,harmful events caused by alcoholism emerge one after another,which not only affect the individual life of drinkers,but also seriously threaten social security.Due to the adolescent psychological characteristics and high life pressure of young people,alcoholism is particularly prominent in young people,which is harmful to physical and mental health and life development.The problem of alcoholism in young people needs to be paid enough attention by the society.The research site of this paper is d street of L community.According to the recruitment conditions of team members,five young people who drink alcohol are selected as the research object.Relying on the relevant theories and research methods of social work,this paper analyzes the current situation and causes of drinking among the service objects,and uses the group work method to intervene in the research.In the early stage of the study,the basic data of the service objects were collected through interview and scale methods to understand the main needs;In the medium term,we will carry out practical research through six section group activities to help team members correct their biased cognition,tap their own advantages and reduce alcoholism;Later stage workers carry out evaluation and scale post test on the group work,and analyze the results and deficiencies of the group through the summary of the group process and the change of members.Reviewing the whole service process,it is found that members have changed significantly after participating in group activities,their social communication ability has been enhanced,their contradictions with their families have been alleviated,their life attitude has been more positive,and the problem of alcoholism has been alleviated.Therefore,this study concludes that alcoholism has the characteristics of invisibility and diversification,and alcoholics have serious psychological contradictions;Intervention services such as changing cognition,learning hobbies,enhancing social support and the use of traditional Chinese medicine can play an effective role in alleviating young people’s alcoholism.Therefore,through the intervention of group work,it is feasible to alleviate the problem of alcohol abuse among young people,and the relevant theoretical guidance is also applicable,which can provide valuable reference for later research and exploration experience.
