| "Chinese course standard of compulsory education" puts forward higher requirements for the Chinese reading ability of the contemporary pupils.But the current reading teaching mode can not fully meet the students’ learning needs.The article focused on the link of preparing lessons before Chinese class.Based on TextBased Reading Theory and viewpoints of YE Sheng-tao on preview,I used for reference the teaching mode of the flipped classroom,and used UMU learning platform to arrange students’ preview activities before class.In order to develop the thinking of text-based reading and text-transcended reading,the preparation before class should be regarded as the precondition and foundation of Chinese reading teaching.Before the formal teaching by the teacher,students preview on the UMU learning platform,including preliminary understanding the words,sentences,paragraphs,texts,free exploration with the assistance of online resources,discovery of issues,discussion with teachers and other classmates.In this way,students achieved the initial internalization of knowledge,generated their own independent thinking and experience,and exercised their self-study ability.Teachers should finish the collection and production of learning resources,preview design,and lesson building.Depending on the statistics of UMU learning platform,teachers can fix a position on the starting point of teaching which accords with students ’actual conditions.Flexible teaching approach such as the task-driven approach and group cooperation guide the pupils to in-depth reading in class.The main work accomplished in my paper includes the following points.The first part is the theoretical research.This paper mainly combed the related research of the activities of Chinese preview,reading strategies,suitable learning platform for preview,informationalized reading teaching mode and appraisal methods of reading effect.It also gave the definition of the relevant concepts such as preview and reading ability,and briefly described the three theoretical bases of constructivism,humanism and Mastery Learning Theory.The second part is pattern construction.In view of the actuality investigation of students’ Chinese preview by questionnaire,in consideration of the subject characteristics of primary school Chinese,construction of teaching model is supported by UMU learning platform.And the classic flipped classroom is its basic framework,blended teaching is also referred to.I designed all phases of class teaching in detail,according to this teaching mode.The last part is the teaching practice.The experimental class and the contrasting class have been set up.This research investigated students’ learning effect and experience through reading tests,questionnaires and interviews.The results show that the application of UMU learning platform in Chinese preparation can significantly improve students’ reading effects.It improves the quality of the preview,and effectively motivates students ’active participation in classroom activities also.The specific performance in the level of students’ reading test,cognition,attitude,learning performance,the quality of preparation and the active participation in classroom,etc. |
