In recent years, due to the people’s pursuit of a better life and the delegation of authority to approve events,a wide variety of mass sports events have been held across the country. However, the COVID-19 that has continued from December 2019 to the present has caused a huge impact on the normal life of event participants, and has seriously affected the physical and mental health and life safety of event participants. So how to reduce the psychological panic of event participants, avoid the occurrence of irrational behaviors, and scientifically guide event participants to effectively respond to the COVID-19,so as to minimize the serious consequences of the epidemic, has become a key issue of academic concern. This paper uses empirical analysis methods to explore the factors that influence the risk perception level of event participants under the background of the COVID-19,and explore the impact of social trust level on risk perception,in order to obtain scientific and effective suggestions to reasonably guide the risk response behavior of event participants.A total of 470 questionnaires were collected in this study,of which 449 were valid questionnaires, with an effective questionnaire of 95.53%.The results of the questionnaire research show that the revised questionnaire has good reliability and validity, and can meet the needs of this research. Finally, after basic processing and hypothesis testing of the data through SPSS21.0 and Amos25.0,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Event participants have a moderate level of risk perception of the epidemic, and there are significant differences in gender, age, education, and occupation.(2)Information on the severity of the epidemic has a positive impact on the risk perception level of event participants.(3)The reputation of the organization for epidemic prevention and control is significantly negatively correlated with the level of risk perception.(4)The degree of familiarity of event participants to the epidemic negatively affects their risk perception level.(5)In response to the COVID-19,98.2% of event participants will choose active coping behaviors, and there are significant differences in coping behaviors in different demographic variables. |
