| COVID-19 is a disaster for all mankind. From a macro point of view, during the outbreak stage, the state quickly promulgated strong preventive and control policies and measures, and mobilized the whole society to take positive actions. However,at the micro level, the risk perception and decision-making of individuals in families are directly related to the formulation and implementation of national macro policies,Therefore, effective risk communication within the family is very important for the prevention and control of outbreaks throughout the country. This study starts from the realistic basis of risk communication-risk perception,to explore the differences and reasons of risk perception between generations,Then,on the basis of the theory of digital divide and cultural feedback,we use the concepts of digital generation gap and digital feedback to investigate the risk communication mode and mechanism within families. Finally,we integrate the causes of risk perception differences and the risk communication mode within families to provide strategies for optimizing the risk communication between families.Firstly, the paper collects and sorts out the concepts of risk perception, risk communication, digital gap and intergenerational relationship by using literature analysis method;secondly, the questionnaire survey is used to investigate the design problems from three aspects: population geography factors, media contact and cultural digital feedback;finally,30 families are selected for in-depth interviews, which summarize and summarize the interview data And analysis,to explore the risk perception difference and risk communication mode among families.Risk perception is the beginning of risk communication. The difference of risk perception directly affects the effect of risk communication. The difference of risk perception is the result of knowledge, trust, value and experience.Under the background of digital divide, there are obvious differences in risk perception among offspring, parents or grandparents in the outbreak stage. The difference is shown in three aspects: first, the risk probability is judged by the parent or the progeny is lower than that of the offspring, and the third-party effect is obvious in the parent or the progeny;secondly, the evaluation of risk level is slightly higher than the parent generation level;finally, the recognition of risk response, the offspring respond quickly and take active preventive measures, while The parent or the grandparent showed resistance and hesitation. When it comes to the spread and normalization stage of the epidemic, the risk perception among generations is gradually the same, but the early perception difference directly affects the initial prevention and control work, and also affects the effect of risk communication. In addition to external factors, personal factors have a more obvious impact on risk perception. The gap between education level and digital generation gap makes knowledge difference between generations. The offspring of strong and weak double trust chain are easier to grasp the risk than the parents or grandparents of single trust chain; The mainstream values guided by the government and the media bring different feelings to parents and children. They can’t take care of their children’s feelings and values, which leads to their children’s disapproval or even aversion to some propaganda. Finally, parents or grandparents have a special memory-SARS memory, which appears from time to time and becomes a powerful discourse against their children.Two-way interactive negotiation model become the main mode of risk communication. The traditional top-down cultural inheritance mode and the bottom-up feedback mode are both one-way transmission, which is easy to produce transmission and reception deviation and lead to the outbreak of conflicts. This two-way interactive and equal negotiation mode is the most common and effective risk communication mode in families, which can resolve the inter-generational difference in risk perception, ease the inter-generational relationship, and help the elderly to effectively and correctly avoid risks.Such intergenerational interaction is of great significance to family harmony and the reverse socialization of the elderly. Finally, based on the causes of intergenerational differences in risk perception and the research of risk communication mode within families, the optimization strategy of intergenerational risk communication is proposed.Within the family, different generations should make different efforts, parents need to lay down their dignity and actively learn from their children, change their ideas, and establish digital awareness and the concept of lifelong learning;Children need to strengthen the sense of responsibility and feedback, take time to participate in family communication rather than entertainment games, and optimize the feedback content. In addition to digital skills feedback, new ideas and new values feedback should not be ignored. The change in thinking is the most thorough change.Externally, the government can strengthen credit construction and establish effective communication channels and feedback platforms.Media grasp the dissemination scale, appropriately guide anxiety, change the way of discourse, optimize information decoding and coding;Encouraging multiple parties to participate in the prevention and control of the epidemic risk will help people ease their anxiety, enhance their risk perception, and narrow the cognitive gap with experts and scholars. |
