Research On The Impact Of Rural Family Occupational Differentiation On Children’s Educational Investment Behavior

Since the promotion of my country’s secondary and tertiary industries and urbanization,rural families have gradually moved away from single traditional agricultural production and developed into diversified occupations.The statistics of the net income of rural residents in the "Guizhou Provincial Statistical Yearbook2020" show the differentiation formed by household income.The proportion of agricultural income in the growth of household operating income is gradually decreasing,and the income from the secondary and tertiary industries is on the rise.Occupational differentiation is the front end of income differentiation.The income differentiation of rural households has caused changes in the social and economic structure.However,the key to achieving sustained and stable income growth in rural families is to realize the transformation from traditional agriculture to new agriculture.It is necessary to vigorously develop rural education and improve the quality of rural population.Increase investment in human capital,cultivate new agricultural talents,solve the employment and transfer problems of rural labor,and increase the employment rate of rural families.Fundamentally solve the "three rural" issues,and comprehensively promote the rural revitalization strategy.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between family occupational differentiation and education investment.This article specifically discusses the differentiation of rural families from a professional perspective,clarifies the micro-motivation and endogenous mechanism of the professional differentiation of rural families.First,we should carefully understand the occupational differentiation of rural families,and describe the real situation of rural family education investment.Secondly,using sampling stratification method of 252 valid questionnaire data,using orderly logit to conduct a stepwise regression analysis of rural family occupational differentiation on children’s education investment,analyze the differences in education investment of heterogeneous rural family groups,and investigate rural family occupations The microscopic influencing factors of differentiation.The results show that: First,there have been group differences in children’s education investment in rural families in our country.Family heterogeneity based on the occupation of family members as the differentiation criterion is an important reason for this difference.Second,there is a positive correlation between the professional differentiation of rural families and family education investment.Third,the factors affecting children’s education investment: dependency ratio and attitudes towards children’s agriculture are negatively correlated,and per capita annual income,attitudes towards risk and return,the number of homesteads are positively correlated.Based on the conclusions,the corresponding enlightenment is obtained: First,we must fully realize the importance of family occupational diversity,and fully understand the characteristics of family differentiation.The greater the degree of differentiation,the more investment in education,and the easier it is to achieve a balanced supply of educational resources.Second,actively guide the occupational differentiation of rural families,optimize the distribution of occupational differentiation,and promote the process of occupational differentiation in rural families.Third,rural families strengthen their children’s education investment concept.Improve the quality of parents and create a good family education environment.
