Family educational investment is one of the important body partsamong three varieties of educational investment,and its percentage is increasing.Nowadays,pre-school education isn't compulsory education.The thesis is based on Official kindergarten and Generalized System of Preferenceskindergarten who are surveyed.We try to analyze the condition of family currency educational investment of the children from 3 to 6 years old.The thesis is used horizontal comparative approach to analyze thedifferences of family educational investment in urban and rural area and used relative analyticalapproach and regression analysis method to find the major influence factors between urban and rural family educational investment.At last,we provide some suggestions for their shortcomings to enhance the rational behavior of family educational investment in the stage of preschool education and promote the balanced development between urban and rural preschool education.The main research results of the study is divided two parts.One is about the comparative of family educational investment.There is two differences which are the area of kindergarten and the children's parenting expectation between urban and rural area.The other is about the analyze of influence factors that are children's nationality,the degree of education of children's mother,children's family monthly income and the degree of education of children's father for urban-rural family educational investment.
