In order to enable vocational and technical colleges and universities to do a good job in the evaluation of curriculum teaching quality under the background of professional certification,this research investigated the current status and existing problems of the current curriculum teaching quality evaluation of 8 traditional vocational and technical colleges and universities.This research constructs a curriculum teaching quality evaluation program in vocational and technical colleges under the background of professional certification which based on the evaluation theory and the requirements of professional certification and the results of others research.After that this research conducts an empirical research in the 12 courses of Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University.The results prove that it is basically feasible.After further improvement,it can be used for reference by vocational and technical colleges and universities.Its main contents includes that the purpose of evaluation is to examine the degree of achievement of curriculum goals,assess teachers’ teaching performance and effects,and improve teaching quality;the evaluation principle is comprehensive,systematic,objective and fair,operable,acceptable and improvable;the subjects of qualitative evaluation are students,peer experts,and teachers themselves;and the subjects of quantitative evaluation are related managers.Under the background of professional certification,the course teaching quality evaluation methods of vocational and technical colleges and universities are that the combination of quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation,the combination of process evaluation and summative evaluation,the combination of course goal achievement evaluation and teacher teaching performance evaluation,the combination of grade evaluation and realism evaluation.The whole evaluation is divided into three parts: evaluation of the degree of achievement of curriculum goals,evaluation of teachers’ teaching performance,and evaluation of realism.The evaluation results of the degree of achievement of the curriculum goals and the qualitative evaluation results of teachers’ teaching performance each constitute an evaluation grade with a weight of 50%,and the realistic evaluation results are used as suggestions for teachers to improve curriculum teaching.The contents of the three parts are as follows:1.The evaluation of the degree of achievement of the course objectives examines the degree of achievement of all forms of assessment scores and target scores of each course goal(80%)and the students’ self-sensing mastery of each course goal(20%).2.The teacher’s teaching effect evaluation consists of three parts: student questionnaire evaluation(20%),expert questionnaire evaluation(60%)and teacher personal questionnaire evaluation(20%).Which mainly investigate the situation of syllabus design,syllabus implementation,teaching attitude,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching level,process evaluation,teaching improvement,academic analysis,teaching and educating people.3.The realism evaluation is mainly to solicit the opinions of the evaluation subject on the design and implementation of the curriculum syllabus and suggestions for improvement.Under the background of professional certification,the evaluation results of the course teaching quality of vocational and technical colleges and universities are divided into two parts: evaluation grade results and realistic evaluation results.The grade results are divided into four levels which includes excellent,good,qualified,and unqualified;the realism evaluation result is the summary of the realism suggestions of the three types of evaluation subject questionnaires.The evaluation results can be used as the basis for teachers to improve teaching,motivate teachers,and formulate and revise teaching plans.
