| Teachers are the critical factors affecting the quality of school education.Without high-quality teachers,there can be no high-quality school education.As a vocational and technical teachers college,its graduates’ level of expertise will significantly affect the quality of vocational education.The curriculum is the core of school education,and the design and implementation of a professional curriculum is the key to improve the quality of new teachers in vocational education.In October2019,the Professional Certification Standard of Vocational and Technical Teachers Education promulgated by China provided a fundamental basis for vocational and technical teachers education.Therefore,whether vocational and technical teachers colleges have the conditions stipulated in the Professional Certification Standard of Vocational and Technical Teachers Education or not,especially whether the curriculum plan of vocational and technical teachers majors can meet the requirements of the Professional Certification Standard of Vocational and Technical Teachers Education or not,has become a research topic which needs to be studied urgently.Based on an in-depth analysis of the connotation and requirements of the Professional Certification Standards for Vocational and Technical Teachers Education,this study takes three independent vocational and technical teachers colleges as samples.Through consulting the four talent training programs of these three colleges,such as automobile service engineering,electronic information engineering,financial and accounting education,horticulture,interviewing the person in charge of these majors,teachers of these professional courses,and students,understanding the current situation of vocational and technical teacher education curriculum design and implementation comprehensively,as well as comparing with the indexes of Professional Certification Standards for Vocational and Technical Teachers Education,this thesis probes into the problems existing in the curriculum design and implementation of vocational teacher education,analyzes its causes,and then puts forward the corresponding solutions.The research shows that the vocational technology teacher major has the following deficiencies: firstly,the training objectives of vocational and technical teacher training majors are not clear enough.Secondly,the educational curriculum is seriously insufficient.Thirdly,the selection of educational curriculum content is not targeted,and its time span is not long enough.Fourthly,the curriculum structure is out of balance.Fifthly,the curriculum content needs to be improved and updated.Sixthly,the curriculum implementation has the tendency of vacuity.Lastly,the support condition of the curriculum is not adequate.Based on further exploring the causes of the problems,this study puts forward improvement measures from the aspects of supporting conditions,curriculum setting and implementation of vocational and technical teacher professional education in order to provide suggestions for the high-quality development of vocational and technical teachers education. |
