Study On The Higher Vocational Education Reform Connected With The Vocational Qualifications Certification

Carrying out vocational qualifications certification system in the field of higher vocational education shows high-skilled personnel training with the aim of services and the orientation of employment. Therefore, the connection of higher vocational education and professional qualifications certification has become an important subject in the research field of higher vocational education now.With the rapid economic development, China's demand for high-skilled talents is increasing sharply. However, our higher vocational education training has many problems. They are mainly reflected in three aspects: the present mode which doesn't focus on technical but academic talents training deviates from the fact that society needs applied talents training urgently; the existing applied talents can't meet the need of enterprises; the existing teaching force of higher vocational colleges can not support the great burden of training technical personnel. Our higher vocational education needs to reinforce professional pertinence. And there is commonness between professional qualifications certification and higher vocational education. Meanwhile, the connection has reality foundation. So connecting with professional qualifications certification is an effective way for higher vocational education reform.Learning from the successful experience of Australia TAFE vocational education as well as domestic exploration, this article proposes the reform program of higher vocational education connected with vocational qualifications certification from both the macro and micro aspects. The first is to create thoroughfares which can link higher vocational education and vocational qualifications certification, including the reinforcement of the state's macro guidance and support of the policy, the establishment of higher vocational education and professional qualifications certification system framework, and the perfection of the quality assurance system of higher vocational education connected with professional qualifications certification; the second is to strengthen the association between higher vocational education and vocational qualifications certification, including the educational mode reform of higher vocational colleges, the blend of vocational qualifications certification into the higher vocational education content, the establishment of the evaluation mechanism with equal emphasis on academic certificates and professional qualifications certificates and so forth.
