Research On The Dilemma And Countermeasures Of Vocational Training For Migrant Workers In The Context Of Rural Revitalization

Migrant workers are a special group that emerged in the 1980 s and has special importance to China’s economic development,and has received attention from scholars in various fields since its emergence.According to existing studies,migrant workers are mostly engaged in low-end industries such as construction,manufacturing,catering,etc.Their working environment is poor,their vocational skill level is not high,and their development potential is limited.As migrant workers are an important force to promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy,it is crucial to improve their technical skills and stimulate their endogenous development motivation.As an important part of vocational education,vocational training is an important way to promote the sustainable development of migrant workers,to promote their independent entrepreneurship and to achieve income growth,and has always been valued by the government.Since the reform and opening up,China has promulgated a series of policies to ensure the smooth implementation of vocational training,but in the actual training,there are problems such as single training content and poor training effect,which need to be solved.Therefore,this study investigates and analyzes the current situation and dilemma of local vocational training for migrant workers in T County,Henan Province,and explores suggestions for improving vocational training for migrant workers in the context of rural revitalization.The research of this paper mainly consists of five parts.The first part mainly describes the background,purpose,significance,content and method of the study,summarizes the existing research status of vocational training for migrant workers,sorts out the theoretical basis of this study,and defines the concept of the relevant concepts.The second part introduces the urgent demand for talents in rural revitalization and the evolution of the policy of vocational training for migrant workers,and discusses the relationship between rural revitalization and vocational training for migrant workers,which provides impetus and support for rural revitalization and indicates the development direction for vocational training for migrant workers.The third part empirically studies the current situation of vocational training for migrant workers in T County,Henan Province through questionnaires and interviews,analyzes the types of vocational training provided by the government and training institutions,and investigates the participation of migrant workers in vocational training and training expectations in terms of willingness to participate,training contents,training forms,and training effects.The fourth part analyzes the current situation and concludes that the current vocational training for migrant workers has limited publicity,single form,short and inflexible time,lack of hierarchy in content,low participation,and the effect does not reach the expectation,and discusses the reasons for the dilemma of vocational training for migrant workers from the aspects of migrant workers themselves and government.The fifth part proposes the optimization strategies to improve the vocational training of migrant workers in the context of rural revitalization based on the actual production: innovate ways to increase the publicity of vocational training;strengthen supervision to provide various training forms;adapt to the actual situation to enrich the content of vocational training;take measures to stimulate the participation of multiple subjects;and strengthen evaluation to guarantee the effect of vocational training.
