Early Childhood is the key period to cultivate children’s good learning quality.This period is the fastest development of children’s ability,the strongest plasticity,is the right time to implement education.Therefore,it is very important to cultivate children’s learning quality.Through paper-cutting activities,preschool teachers help children develop good learning quality.Children are guided in paper-cutting activities and gain direct experience through carefully cutting,pasting,painting and other actions,experience hands-on operation,explore the fun created to promote the all-round development of children.Therefore,the researchers will be paper-cut activities and children’s learning quality of the combination of research.The subjects of the study were 24 young children of a middle class in a public park in Langfang.They were observed non-participatively while they were engaged in paper-cutting activities,fill in the evaluation form of children’s learning quality,at the same time,six teachers in the middle class were interviewed during the lunch break,among which two preschool teachers were middle class teachers in the observation class and four teachers were middle class teachers in other classes,structured interviews with them.This paper probes into the present situation of the children s learning quality in the paper-cutting activities in the middle class,and based on the present situation,reveals the problems existing in the children’s learning quality in the paper-cutting activities,finds out the reasons,and advances some feasible strategies.Through observation and interview,the researcher found that: 1.Middle Class Children’s learning quality is not optimistic in paper-cutting activities,middle class children’s learning quality in all dimensions of paper-cutting activities are different,the averages ranged from high to low: initiative,focus,persistence,imagination and creativity,independence,and curiosity and interest.The main factors that influence the learning quality of middle class children in paper-cutting activities are:(1)teachers’ lack of understanding of children’s learning quality;(2)Children’s own development;(3)lack of home cooperation.Therefore,the researcher puts forward the following suggestions on the middle class children’s learning quality in paper-cutting activities:(1)teachers should be good guides in paper-cutting activities,(2)coordinate learning quality,develop in an all-round way,(3)improve their own professional quality,(4)home co-education,to enhance children’s skills in paper-cutting and derivative activities.
