Chinese paper-cutting is a folk art form created by the labouring people with scissors as a tool and paper as materials for the purpose of showing folk cultural life and entrusting the spiritual connotation of folk customs.In China,paper-cutting has a broad mass base,blends into the social life of the Chinese nation,and is an important part of various folk activities.Chinese paper-cutting is an image symbol of fine traditional Chinese culture,which contains rich cultural and historical information,and expresses the aesthetic pursuit,social cognition,moral concept,practical experience and life ideal of all the people.Paper-cutting is a favorite activity for preprimary children.To integrate Chinese paper-cutting into kindergarten education,we must pay attention to grasping the dual goals of cultural inheritance and children’s development,make full use of Chinese paper-cutting resources,and promote the multi-faceted development of children.Based on the relevant theories of fine traditional Chinese culture education,Chinese paper-cutting,kindergarten education activities design and implementation,kindergarten paper-cutting activities design and implementation,this research carried out action research on the design and implementation of Chinese paper-cutting activities in senior class of kindergarten.Using action research method,interview method,observation method and works analysis method,formed a cooperative group with teacher K in Class D of Chongqing Y Kindergarten,and carried out action research with children in Class D as the research object.Aiming at the problems of Chinese paper-cutting activities in senior class and the confusion of K teacher,we designed and implemented four stages of activities:Beautiful Tuanhua Paper Cuttings,Paper-cut lady Ku Shulan,Mouse married daughter,Paper-cut from my hometown,and carried out timely reflection and improvement after each activity.The study found that Chinese paper-cutting activities have developed children’s aesthetic perception,aesthetic emotion,and aesthetic creativity,enriched children’s knowledge about paper-cutting,improved children’s ability to use scissors,and promoted the formation of children’s approaches toward learning.Through the activities,the children initially learned some knowledge of fine cultures,and developed a sense of identification with traditional culture and a willingness to share.The research has also changed teachers’ views on Chinese paper-cutting activities,expanded teachers’ professional knowledge,and improved teachers’ professional capabilities.Through the research,it is concluded that in the design and implementation of Chinese paper-cutting activities,the dual goals of aesthetics and culture are the core,following the children’s learning style is the key,the teacher’s quality is the guarantee,and home collaboration is an important means of implementing Chinese paper-cutting activities.It is suggested that kindergartens should attach importance to the value of Chinese paper-cutting in the enlightenment education of fine traditional Chinese culture;Make full use of family and social resources to carry out Chinese paper-cutting activities;Establish an evaluation program for Chinese paper-cutting activities.At the same time,it is suggested that teachers should cultivate a correct view of the design and implementation of Chinese paper-cutting activities;Improve the ability to design and implement Chinese paper-cutting activities. |
