With the increasingly heated research on physical education and the continuous improvement and development of the process of education reform in China,it has become the top priority of China’s education reform to cultivate and improve the core literacy of students.Sports core literacy is the "core" and "necessary" literacy of students.It is the special character and key ability of students to adapt to the requirements of sports development and social development.Primary school is the basic education stage in general education.Primary school students are in the sensitive period of accepting new things,which is the key period of cultivating sports core literacy.This paper uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and teaching experiment to complete the research.Yixing City is selected as the key research area,and the third grade students in the experimental primary school are selected as the research objects.The number of students participating in the research is 20,including 10 boys and 10 girls.This paper analyzes the sports results of these students before and after sports literacy training,and explores the practical role and significance of sports core literacy in the process of primary school.The results are as follows:(1)after comparing the data of students before and after the training of sports core literacy,we can see that the students after special training have a higher level in the motivation of core literacy(2)After comparing the data of students before and after the training of sports core literacy health ability,we can see that the students after special training show a higher level in this aspect of behavior.
