| Cultivating students’ core literacy is a trend in the development of education in China.The promulgation of the "Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in Compulsory Education"(2022 Edition)means that under the guidance of core literacy concepts,the teaching of physical education and health courses will be further deepened and developed.Students in the compulsory education stage are in an important stage of physiological and psychological growth,as well as an important period for the formation of moral and values.Chinese martial arts,as an excellent traditional culture in China,occupy an important position in the current school physical education curriculum and should play its unique educational value.However,with the rapid development of society and the continuous intensification of teaching reform,the development of martial arts is not satisfactory.The development of students’ core literacy is in line with the trend,and the combination of martial arts education and the concept of sports core literacy is imperative.This article adopts research methods such as literature review,expert interview,on-site investigation,questionnaire survey,and logical analysis.Starting from the perspective of sports core literacy,14 primary and secondary schools in the compulsory education stage of the main urban area of Chengdu are randomly selected for research to understand the current situation of integrating martial arts teaching into sports core literacy cultivation,and analyze the value and role of Chinese martial arts in cultivating sports core literacy in primary and secondary schools,Exploring the factors that affect the cultivation of sports core literacy in martial arts teaching in primary and secondary schools in the main urban area of Chengdu,and proposing practical paths for improving their sports core literacy cultivation.The following conclusions can be drawn from the current situation of cultivating core sports literacy in primary and secondary schools through Chinese martial arts:(1)The role of Chinese martial arts in strengthening physical fitness,cultivating morality,integrating knowledge and action,and inheriting culture can effectively promote the formation of core sports literacy among primary and secondary school students.(2)The core strength lacks depth,and the level of martial arts teachers varies.(3)The teaching content is complex and outdated,and the essence of martial arts is vague.(4)There is a lack of inheritance of martial arts culture due to a bias towards skills over martial arts ethics and etiquette.(5)The teaching objectives are not clear enough and the integration with the core sports literacy concept is not sufficient.(6)The teaching organization method is single,and students lack initiative.In response to the above conclusions,this study proposes the following practical paths:(1)With the assistance of science and technology,stimulate students’ interest in learning.(2)Starting from core competencies,implement more effective teaching.(3)Based on the essence of martial arts,explore the unique value of martial arts.(4)Guided by lifelong learning,continuously improving one’s professional quality.(5)Based on military ethics education,we will inherit excellent traditional culture.(6)Organize teaching in various forms centered around "diligent practice and regular competition". |
