In order to explore the influence of online and offline teaching methods on the emotional changes of students in a secondary vocational college in Xian County,Hebei Province during the COVID-19 epidemic period,and to provide theoretical guidance and method suggestions for better online teaching during the epidemic period.Two questionnaire surveys were conducted in this study,From February to March,2020,a total of 422 students from grade one to grade three in a secondary vocational college will be selected as the subjects.Fill in the general information and the psychological questionnaire of public health emergencies online through the questionnaire star.Descriptive statistics were used to analyze scores for depression,neurasthenia,phobia,obsessive-anxiety,and hypochondria.In the early of Jun.2020,paper questionnaires were sent to the same group of subjects for post-test investigation,descriptive statistical analysis of Study 1 was also conducted.The mixed analysis of variance was used to test the difference between grade,major,gender and each emotion factor,and to compare whether there was statistically significant difference between emotion and each variable.The pre-test data showed that among the five emotional factors,fear factor scored the highest,which was higher than the other four emotional factors.The post-test data showed that among the five factors of depression,neurasthenia,fear,obsessive-anxiety and hypochondria,the score of fear factor was still higher than that of the other four emotional factors.Mixed-variance analysis showed that the main effects of depression factor,neurasthenia factor and total emotional score were significant before and after the test,while the differences of other factors were not significant.There were significant differences in neurasthenia factor between majors.Based on the above research results,we find that the learning style of online teaching does have an impact on the emotions of secondary vocational students,especially the negative emotions.There is a statistical difference in the emotion of secondary vocational students,and the change of female students’ emotion is significantly higher than that of male students.Online teaching method has statistical difference on the emotional impact of secondary vocational students.The change of tear emotion of secondary vocational students is significantly related to their majors.It is very important to focus on the emotional changes of secondary vocational students and give timely assistance to alleviate their uncomfortable emotions,which has important practical significance for more effectively protecting the physical and mental health and life safety of secondary vocational students.
