| Under the double background of cultural and tourism integration and post-epidemic era,the development of tourism industry has been paid more attention by the state and community.Tour guide is the window of tourism industry and the messenger of cultural transmission.On-the-job training of tour guide is an important way to improve the overall service quality and promote the development of tourism.However,there are many problems in actually on-the-job training activities,such as neglecting the learning tendency,unique role and work difference of tour guide,which makes the timeliness of training activities poor.The lack of the research and analysis of the on-the-job training needs of tour guide is an important reason.The research and analysis of training needs is helpful for training organizer to understand the real training needs of tour guide in order to achieve on-demand training.On the other hand,it is helpful for tour guide to identify own ability level in order to stimulate the motivation of on-the-job learning.Based on the theory of training system,adult learning and humanistic learning,this paper uses the quantitative and qualitative research methods to investigate the current situation and demand of on-the-job training of tour guide.The result of the investigation analysis the current situation and demand of on-the-job training for tour guide.And then on the basis of discussing the existing problems of training,the paper puts forward the effective measure to optimize on-the-job training.Through the investigation and research,in terms of the current situation of training,firstly,the highest level of training that tour guide mainly participate in the training of tourism training institutions and their units,and there are few opportunities to participate in high-level training activties;the frequency of tour guide participating in training is low.Secondly,the tour guide’s satisfaction with on-the-job training is not high,but they think the training is helpful to their work.Finally,most tour guide participate in the training from internal motivation in order to meet their own development needs;heavy tasks,lack of training information and limited training places are three major factors that hinder tour guides from participating in the training.In terms of training needs,it is found that tour guide have certain universality and difference from the quantitative and qualitative perspectives on the training needs;Tour guide generally tend to train on non-working days,long for interactive training forms,favor practical and expert teachers,expect non-assessment or open assessment methods and emphasize practical,prefer practical,timely and systematic training contents.There are non-significant difference in training forms,training teachers and training assessment methods among tour guide with different education background and working years,but there are some significant difference in training time and training content.According to the research on the current situation of training demand,this paper analysis the problem of current on-the-job training and puts forward the effective measure to optimize on-the-job training from multiple subjects:(1)Tourism administrative department should strengthen the government functions and improve the system construction;(2)Training organizers should do a good job of research and train on their demand;(3)Their units should provide a platform and strengthen management;(4)Tour guide should establish their own awareness of career development and strengthen learning and reflection. |
