There is a college entrance examination for general schools and a competition for vocational schools.As an important platform to test the professional skills ability of vocational school students,the skills competition promotes the improvement of students’ professional skills and comprehensive quality to a certain extent,and promotes the development of vocational colleges and students’ comprehensive quality in many ways,such as improving students’ ability to adapt to the scene and the application of knowledge reserves,enriching teaching cases,improving students’ practical ability,promoting the construction of dual-teacher team of tour guide profession and the construction of tour guide Professional training base construction.Through the research in the practice of their own internship,it is found that the students who participated in the skills competition have significantly improved in terms of performance and overall quality.Therefore,the role played by skill competitions in vocational schools cannot be ignored.In this paper,we try to integrate the skills competition items into the course teaching,starting from the tour guide skills tournament,and analyze the optimization strategy of introducing the tour guide skills competition items to promote the course teaching in the middle level "Live Tour Guide".Firstly,the significance of the tour guide skills competition for the course teaching is analyzed by outlining the relevant competitions and standards of the tour guide skills competition.Secondly,taking "On-site tour guide" in Z school of Guizhou province as a case,the current situation of course teaching is investigated and analyzed through questionnaires,interviews and the author’s personal practice,and then it is found that the current teaching of "On-site tour guide" course has problems such as poor classroom learning style,low motivation of students,single teaching method of teachers,lack of multiple teaching evaluation methods,backward practical teaching facilities and poor integration of tournament teaching.Again,the chapter content is selected for the design and implementation of the teaching case of the theme of integration of teaching and competition,and the implementation effect is investigated and the course is reflected and summarized.Finally,combining the current situation of the preliminary investigation and the teaching implementation effect,we summarize the path of promoting the optimization of the course teaching of "Field Guide" under the concept of integration of competition and teaching:firstly,to formulate the teaching objectives of the course according to the standards of the competition,secondly,to innovate the teaching methods by combining with the competition,thirdly,to build a diversified course teaching evaluation system,fourthly,to strengthen the "double-teacher" team,and fifthly,to pay attention to the construction of the teaching facilities required by the profession.Fifth,pay attention to the construction of practical training bases required by the profession.We hope to achieve the teaching objectives better and faster and train excellent participants for the skill competition,improve the overall quality of the whole class,realize the competition to promote learning,teaching,innovation,thinking and evaluation,and promote the comprehensive quality and vocational skills of secondary school students.
