With the popularity of smartphones,the phenomenon of parents being distracted by smartphones and other electronic devices when accompanying their children has become more common,and parents have gradually become a member of the phubbing army.At the same time,a growing number of teenagers are becoming addicted to smartphones,which has brought serious negative effects on their lives.From the perspective of family environment,the purpose of this study is to explore the influence of parental phubbing on junior school students’ smartphone addiction,and to investigate the mediating role of parent-child relationship between parental phubbing and junior school students’ smartphone addiction,and the moderating role of intentionality self-regulation between parental phubbing and junior school students’ smartphone addiction.This study adopted the Parental Phubbing Scale,the Mobile Phone Addiction Scale,the Parent-Child Intensity Scale to make investigations on 822 parents and junior school students.The results showed that:(1)Father phubbing and mother phubbing were significantly positively correlated with junior school students’ smartphone addiction.Father-child relationship and mother-child relationship were significantly negatively correlated with father phubbing and mother phubbing and junior school students’ smartphone addiction.Intentional self-regulation is positively correlated with father-child relationship and mother-child relationship,and negatively correlated with junior school students’ smartphone addiction.(2)Father phubbing and mother phubbing can significantly positively predict junior school students’ smartphone addiction.(3)Parent-child relationship mediated the relationship between parental phubbing and junior school students’ smartphone addiction.The second half of the mediating pathway of parent-child relationship between parental phubbing and junior school students’ smartphone addiction was moderated by intentional self-regulation.(4)Parent-child relationship and intentional self-regulation played a moderating mediating role in the influence of parental phubbing on junior school students’ smartphone addiction.According to the results of the study,from the aspects of school teachers,parents and students themselves,this paper puts forward educational suggestions to improve the smartphone addiction of junior school students,establish a good parent-child relationship and family atmosphere,and improve the ability of intentionality self-regulation of junior school students.
