training outcomes,whether its talent training goals are achieved remains to be considered.On the one hand,one of the main basis for judging whether the goal of talent training is achieved is the level of training outcomes of postgraduates.The process plays a key role in the training outcomes of postgraduates.On the other hand,the career choice of academic postgraduates is closely related to the training goals,and the academic career expectations of postgraduates have a guiding role in their future selection of academic careers.If academic masters in first-class disciplines have low expectations for academic careers,it will definitely affect the continuous development of the discipline itself,and will also affect the process of our country’s transformation from a big country of higher education to a strong country of higher education.Therefore,Therefore,it is necessary to explore the cultivation of graduate students and academic career expectations.This research takes academic masters in first-class disciplines in double-class universities as the main research object,and discusses the quality of talent cultivation under the background of first-class discipline construction from the perspectives of the cultivation process,cultivation outcomes and academic career expectations of master graduate students,and mainly discusses the status quo of the cultivation process of postgraduates,the status quo of cultivation outcomes,and the correlation and influence between the two,analyze the status quo of the academic career expectations of master students from the aspects of academic career cognitive experience and academic career decision-making expectations,and explore the correlation and influence mechanism of postgraduate cultivation and academic career expectations.This study uses a variety of research methods.First,use text analysis methods to explore the talent cultivation goals proposed by the construction of first-class disciplines;secondly,on the basis of literature review and theoretical construction,compile a survey questionnaire "Research on Postgraduate Cultivation and Academic Career Expectations";thirdly,use quantitative research methods to analyze the effect of postgraduate cultivation on academic career expectations;then,the structural equation model is used to explore the mechanism of the influence of postgraduate cultivation on academic career expectations;finally,the interview method is used to supplement the data analysis results.This research has reached the following conclusions: First,the cultivation process for postgraduates in universities under the background of the construction of first-class disciplines is generally ideal.Among them,the tutor elements have the highest average score,followed by courses,cultivation concepts,scientific research practices,and teaching.Second,the overall cultivation outcomes of postgraduates are relatively large,and the scale scores of professional outcomes,value outcomes,and ability outcomes decrease in order.Third,cultivation concepts,courses,teaching,scientific research practice,and tutors have a significant positive impact on cultivation outcomes.Fourth,postgraduates perceive that academic careers are relatively arduous,and academic careers bring a general sense of accomplishment.Fifth,the professional self-efficacy of academic postgraduates engaged in academic professions is average,from before admission to after a period of cultivation,the average score of academic career decision-making expectations has dropped significantly.Sixth,the academic career expectations of academic masters have significant differences in the six dimensions of the personal effort survey.Seventh,the professional self-efficacy of academic masters and current academic career decision-making expectations significantly higher than that of professional masters.Eighth,the ability outcomes in the cultivation of master students have a significant positive impact on the cognitive experience of academic career task ease,sense of accomplishment,and career self-efficacy;professional outcomes have a significant positive impact on career self-efficacy and current academic career decision-making expectations.Ninth,professional self-efficacy has a significant positive impact on the current academic career decision-making expectations of postgraduates.Tenth,the Amos path analysis chart shows that the cultivation process is more important than the individual effort of postgraduates.The cultivation outcomes of mentorship have a greater impact on the professional outcomes of postgraduates.The support of the scientific research practice environment has a greater impact on the ability outcomes of postgraduates.The professional self-efficacy play an important role in the professional outcomes which has an impact on the current academic career decision-making expectations of postgraduates.Finally,based on the analysis of the effect of the postgraduate cultivation process on the cultivation outcomes and the path analysis of the postgraduate cultivation on the academic career expectations,this research put forward relevant suggestions from the level of universities and postgraduates in order to improve the cultivation process of postgraduates,increase the cultivation outcomes and academic career expectations of postgraduates. |
