According to international standards,my country entered an aging society in 2000.In today’s world, various countries have actively taken various measures to deal with population aging.Among them, promoting the employment of young people is one of the important measures to alleviate population aging. The young and old people are potential labor market resources, and they have a key effect on economic growth. For the young people, employment can not only bring a certain income and improve the quality of life;it can also improve family status, which is conducive to the development of physical and mental health. Therefore, this article explores the influencing factors of the employment of young people, increases the employment rate of the elderly, and gives full play to the value of the human resources of the elderly. This article uses the 2017 Chinese General Social Survey questionnaire data, combines basic theories and Influence factor analysis framework, and analyzes 12cross-correlation tables from four aspects: personal factors, family factors, economic factors and social factors The relationship between employment and influencing factors, while constructing a binary logistic regression model to conduct empirical research on agricultural,non-agricultural,and residential hukou. The empirical results show that in the overall sample, the eight factors of gender, age, education level, health status, number of children, personal income, spouse income, and attitude towards the elderly have a significant impact on the employment of the elderly.Among the personal factors, the incidence of employment among elderly men is much higher than that of women;the increase of age will reduce the employment idea of the elderly;the education level is that the junior high school, high school and the technical secondary school are more willing to find employment;those with healthy physical conditions are more likely to find employment. In the family factor, the more children there are,the stronger the willingness to find employment;the spouse’s willingness to get a job is stronger than if there is no job.Among economic factors, personal income has a positive effect, while spouse income has a negative effect.Among the social factors,it is believed that the old-age care for children or the pension system of the government, children, and oneself is beneficial to promote employment. However, when differentiating the samples of elderly people with different household registrations, agriculture and residential household registration have many factors that affect the employment of the elderly, including gender, age, education level, etc. However, the non-agricultural household registration has zero influencing factors, and there is no relevant influencing factor.Based on the empirical research results, this article proposes the following policy recommendations: First, improve the national policy system to encourage the employment of young people;second, improve the quality of medical services and improve the health of young people;third, improve the employment of young people in urban areas Participation:(1)Transform traditional concepts and practice active aging;(2)Establish an employment information sharing mechanism for urban young people;(3)Strengthen vocational training for urban young people;(4)Implement delayed and flexible retirement system.
