It has been a public health issue of global concern about teenager suicide.In China,suicide ranks top one in the cause of death for people aged 15-34,and the suicide rate of teenagers has been on the increase year by year.Research shows that as many as 80%of suicides have expressed their suicidal thoughts before taking action.In this context,the attention to and intervention of suicide intention can help reduce the suicide behavior of teenagers at the source.Based on the Interpersonal Acceptance rejection theory and suicide escape theory,this study explored the relationship between parental rejection,emotion regulation ability and suicidal ideation of senior high school students,and explored the mediating role of emotion regulation ability between parental rejection and suicidal ideation of senior high school students,and further explored the mediating role of each dimension of emotion regulation ability between parental rejection and suicidal ideation of senior high school students.In order to improve the emotion regulation ability of high school students with suicidal ideation,group counseling intervention was carried out.Based on questions about rejection factors in EMBU,Teenager Suicide Intention Scale,and Teenager Emotion Adjustment Ability Questionnaire,Study 1 surveyed 793 students in a Wuhan high school,and a total of 763 valid questionnaires were collected.Among them,there were 417(56.66%)senior one students,319(43.34%)senior two students,406(55.16%)boys and 330(44.84%)girls.The average age of the subjects was 15.51 years old(SD=0.64),and the age range was 14-17 years old.All of these materials try to explore the relationship between parental rejection,emotional adjustment ability and suicide intention.On the basis of study 1,study 2 conducted a group counseling intervention study on 10 senior high school students with suicidal ideation to investigate whether the group counseling with the theme of improving the ability of emotion regulation can reduce the suicidal ideation of senior high school students.The results are as follows:(1)There is a significant correlation between parental rejection,emotion regulation ability and suicidal ideation,and parental rejection can positively predict adolescents’suicidal ideation.(2)Specifically,parental rejection can not only directly affect high school students’suicidal ideation,but also indirectly affect high school students’ suicidal ideation through the ability of emotional regulation.(3)In the sub dimension of emotion regulation ability,the ability of emotion perception and effective application of emotion regulation strategies play a mediating role between parental refusal and suicidal ideation,while the mediating effect of emotion regulation self-efficacy,emotion control ability,emotion evaluation ability and emotion reflection ability between parental refusal and suicidal ideation is not significant.(4)The group counseling with the theme of improving senior high school students’emotion regulation ability has a promoting effect on Improving Senior High School Students’ emotion regulation ability,which can improve senior high school students’emotion regulation ability to a certain extent and reduce their suicidal ideation.
