In this research, orphans from the orphan schools are the participants, bases on status-based rejection sensitivity of cognitive processing theory mode and combines the orphans’ characteristics of high status-based rejection sensitivity with relevant psychology theory. Based on the structure of status-based rejection sensitivity, the author designed a set of group counseling program on the adjustment of orphans’ high status-based rejection sensitivity and through the experimental design of experimental group and control group before and after the test of orphans’ status-based rejection sensitivity self-report Questionnaire as measuring tool to collect and sort out the orphan students’ self assessment report, the group environment assessment and the teachers’ observation records. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis to get the intervention effects of group counseling program on the adjustment of orphans’ high status-based rejection sensitivity, the research draw the following conclusions:(1) The acceptance of identity and attribution training can effectively reduce the orphans’ status-based rejection of high level and change high rejection of cognition.(2) The relaxation training can effectively reduce the anxiety levels of orphans’ status-based rejection and ease their anxiety mood.(3) The cognitive restructuring method can effectively reduce the anger levels of orphans’ status-based rejection and relieve their angry mood.
