The proposal of curriculum ideology and politics has opened up a new road for the ideological and political work in colleges and universities.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the ideological and political development of PE curriculum under the perspective of "cultivating people by virtue" has become the focus and hot spot in the field of PE curriculum and teaching reform.By exploring the path of implementing the ideological and political curriculum of public physical education in higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province,the theoretical connotation of the ideological and political curriculum of public physical education can be enriched,the systematic design and overall advancement of the ideological and political education of college students can be promoted,and the collaborative education system of all-round development of morality,intelligence,physical education,beauty and labor can be constructed.To a certain extent,the concept of implementing curriculum ideology and politics of public physical education teachers should be strengthened,their ability to implement curriculum ideology and politics should be improved,and their internal motivation to promote the construction of curriculum ideology and politics should be stimulated,so as to promote the common development of public physical education teaching and curriculum ideology and politics,and provide reference for other disciplines to implement curriculum ideology and politics.In this way,the goal of talent training in higher vocational colleges can be realized and the ideological and political education of students in higher vocational colleges can be strengthened.This paper adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire survey,expert interview and mathematical statistics to analyze the current situation of the ideological and political development of the public physical education course in higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province,and finds out seven problems:First,the ideological and political construction system of the public physical education course is not perfect;Second,the public PE teachers’ understanding of curriculum ideology and politics is not enough.Third,the initiative of public PE teachers to implement the curriculum is not strong enough;Fourthly,the teachers of public physical education have not applied the ideological and political elements of the curriculum well enough.Fifth,the school is not enough to carry out curriculum ideological and political training and guidance for public PE teachers;Sixth,students’ acceptance of the implementation of public PE curriculum is not very high;Seventh,the overall ideological and political effect of the implementation of public physical education curriculum is not good enough.This paper analyzes the causes of the problems,and puts forward the following approaches for implementing the ideological and political courses in the public physical education courses of higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province: 1.Establish a pattern of "great ideological and political education";2.Optimize the design of public physical education curriculum;3.Enhance the ideological and political ability of public PE teachers.
