| Academic Procrastination often occurs in students’ learning activities,which means that individuals realize that procrastination will bring negative consequences,but still voluntarily refuse to complete the learning task.Academic Procrastination will have a serious negative impact on high school students’ learning and adaptation.Procrastination leads to low learning efficiency and unsatisfactory academic performance,which leads to the loss of hope for the future.College students spend more time freely and are morelikelyto procrastinate.High sc hool is the most stressful and time-consuming stage in life.Many people think that th ere will be less academic procrastination in high schoolstudents,but in this tense lear ning environment,there are still many procrastination behaviors.According to Eriksson’theory of psychological development stage,the m ain taskof high school students is to establish self-identity and solve the crisis of role disorder,Inthis stage,students will start to think about themselves and the future,an d their thinking the future will guide their current behavior.In recent years,the new c ollegeentrance examination policy has been implemented in succession.When stude nts choosesubjects,they need to have certain thinking and planning for the future,So that they canthink about the future to guide the current behavior.Through the in-depth review and analysis of the relevant literature,we can conclude that future time insight,expected imagination and self-control are the main factors affecting students’ academic procrastination,but the current research focuses on the two-factor correlation analysis and two-two prediction analysis stage,there is no relevant psychological researchers to combine these three variables to carry out in-depth study to examine its comprehensive impact on academic procrastination.Therefore,this study for the first time will be the future time insight,expected imagination and self-control of the three integrated to examine,on the basis of their own research,constructed a regulated intermediary model: expected imagination in high school students in the future time insight and academic delay between the role of mediation,self-control in the future time insight and expected imagination between the role of regulation.Through the study of the mechanism of action,in the actual educational activities,we can find out how to effectively intervene in the procrastination behavior of high school students in a new direction,and targeted to help high school students reduce and control procrastination behavior,so as to develop a good learning and behavior habits.The scales used in this study are adolescents T future time insight scale,middle school students T academic procrastination scale,self-control scale,and episodic expectation imaginary questionnaire(EFT).550 students used the form of questionnaires to measure(530 valid questionnaires),and used SPSS23.0 software to perform statistics and related path analysis on the collected data,and the following results were obtained:(1)High school students T future negativity caused by delays in their studies is relatively strong;FTP,future situational thinking and self-control levels are average.(2)Academic procrastination is negatively correlated with FTP,future situational thinking and self-control;FTP,future situational thinking,and self-control are all positively correlated with each other.(3)Future situational thinking plays an intermediary role between FTP and academic procrastination.(4)Self-control plays a mediating role between FTP and academic procrastination and future situational thinking and academic procrastination. |
