| Attention is the ability of people’s mental activities to point and focus on certain things. It is the primary condition for children to perceive the world and obtain information.Children must have attention to participate in establishing contact with external information.Great attention is a basic requirement for entering primary school, and its cultivation is an important part of the connection between kindergarten and primary school.Cognitive neuroscience has found that the critical period of attention is in the preschool stage, especially Sustained Attention and Selective Attention. Moreover, related studies have shown that it is feasible and effective to cultivate children’s attention in the preschool period, but in the past, these activities were independent of the form of activities in kindergartens, which would cause additional burdens on children. Therefore, the author tries to choose the common game activity in kindergarten—games with rules to cultivate the attention of children in the senior classes of kindergarten. This study consists of three parts.Firstly,it aims to investigate the effect of rule-playing on the attention development of 5-6-year-old children by using the paradigm of empirical research. Then through action research to further improve the study of the games with rules activity scheme can be used in kindergarten; Finally,it summarizes the educational suggestions and provides some sample games to train the attention of kindergarten teachers to provide some practical guidance for the training of attention. The results of this study showed that:(1)In terms of Sustained Attention, there was no significant difference in pretest scores between the experimental group and the control group. After 15 games, the pretest scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the pretest, while the pretest and posttest scores of the control group were not significantly different.(2)In terms of Selective Attention, there was no significant difference in pretest scores between the experimental group and the control group, and the pretest scores of the experimental group were also significantly higher after 15 times of games with rules, while the pretest and posttest scores of the control group were not significantly different.(3)There was no significant gender difference in the mean increase of the two kinds of attention in the experimental group. The conclusion of this study is that games with rules can effectively cultivate children’s Sustained Attention and Selective Attention in the senior classes of kindergarten. There was no significant gender difference in the effect of games with rules on the improvement of Sustained Attention and Selective Attention of boys and girls.Through more than two years of research, the author tries to put forward some educational suggestions on attention cultivation for preschool teachers and provide some games with rules suitable in the senior classes of kindergarten. The following suggestions are put forward :(1)teachers can set up a puzzle area in the classroom and put in some puzzle games to play teaching aids;(2)teachers should establish the correct guiding concept of rules and games;(3)teachers can choose some games with rules that can exercise children’s self-control;(4)the cultivation of attention should be combined with children’s interest;(5)complex games with rules can be organized for many times;(6)preschool teachers and parents cooperate;(7)create a good game environment. |
