The smoothly carrying-out of the rule-games in the math area of the kindergarten cannot be achieved without the scientific organization and guidance of teachers.On the other hand,it is more necessary for children to provide suitable materials.Materials are the carriers of children's games,and the suitability and effectiveness of materials are one of the main influencing factors for the smoothly carrying-out of rule-games in senior class of kindergarten.The purpose of this study is to understand the current situation of the rule-games' materials in the math area of senior class in kindergarten,and analyze the problems and causes of the rule-games' materials in the math area.So it can provide corresponding suggestions for teachers to organize the rule-games in the math area.This study takes the rule-games in mathematical area of six senior classes from three kindergartens in J city(one for the first grade,one for the second grade and another for the third grade)as the research object,and use the observation method,interview method and object-analysis method to analyze the collected materials.Researchers analyzed the launch and operation of rule-games' material in mathematics area of kindergarten's senior class and found that the present kindergarten can be aware of the importance of rule-games for children's mathematical development,as give a child support from the game time,the types of materials in the practical work.The present situations of material placement for the rule-games in math area of senior class in kindergartens are: many types of materials,in contains varieties of mathematical educational contents;wide source of materials,and different materials from diffdrent sources covers different features.The mathematics education goal is themain reference basis of the material placement.Material updating is mainly based on fine-tuning.At present,the statuses of material operation of rule-games in the math area are: the types of materials children like have characteristics;children prefer multi-player combination;children will correct the rules of the game;children do not pay attention to the results of the game.The study found that the problems in the math rule-games' materials of senior class in kindergarten mainly include: It lay much more emphasis on the concept of quantity but ignore other cognitive qualities in mathematics;absence or accumulation of material;some materials are not suitable for children;children do not obey the rules of the game;children's game level is simple,easily distracted when operating materials.Combining observation and interview,the author analyzed the reasons as follows: the lack of relevant theoretical and practical research;the deficiency of hardware and software in kindergarten;lack of teachers' professional ability;teachers do not have enough energy.The suggestions put forward by the researchers include: the educational manage department should pay attention to the rule-games in the mathematical area;kindergartens should properly support the carrying-out of rule-game in mathematical area,strengthen teacher's consciousness,and promote teacher's professional ability.
