A Comparative Study Of Parents' Perceptions Of School Readiness In Kindergarten Senior Classes And Kindergarten Transition Classes

Parents should establish a scientific concept of school preparation and work well with teachers to prepare children for school,so as to complete the smooth transition from preschool to primary school,which has an important influence on children's development.However,in today's society,in order to do a good job in the connection between kindergarten and primary school,it is common for parents of kindergartens to "retire" when their children should go to senior grade of kindergarten and send their children to private preschool classes.Then,what is the concept of school preparation,driving some parents to their children "back",resulting in the loss of senior grade of kindergarten children phenomenon;Some parents are based on what kind of school preparation concept,always let children in the senior grade of kindergarten through the early childhood transition stage.Therefore,this study mainly uses the questionnaire method to conduct a comparative study on the concept of school preparation of parents in l the senior grade of kindergarten and private preschool connecting class,and combined with the questionnaire survey,uses the interview method to have a further understanding.The results show that: in general,Parents of the senior grade of kindergarten and private preschool classes have a higher awareness of the importance of school preparation in various dimensions,and there is no significant difference in the overall concept of school preparation.Education background,age and income have no significant influence on the conception of school readiness of parents of the senior grade of kindergarten.However,educational background had significant and extremely significant effects on preschool parents' cognition of the importance of health,exercise and cognitive development,respectively.The differences of parents of different classes in the field of health and sports and cognitive development are the most prominent differences of parents of different classes in the concept of school readiness.Parents of different classes need to improve their awareness of the importance of health and sports.There is no significant difference in the concept of school readiness among parents of different classes in the grouping of education background and income.In the age group,there were significant differences in health and exercise in school readiness among parents over 35 years of age with different class nature.According to the findings found in the study,parents of kindergarten and private preschool connecting classes tend to pay too much attention to cognitive development,and both kindergarten and private preschool connecting classes tend to have insufficient understanding of the importance of health field.This paper tries to put forward reasonable suggestions from the perspectives of the government,kindergarten and teachers.
