An Analysis Of Patriotism Education For College Students In The New Media Era

As the spiritual gene of maintaining the unity and unity of the Chinese nation,patriotism inspires generations of Chinese people to make unremitting efforts for the prosperity and development of the motherland.Patriotism education is the core guarantee for China to stand in the forest of world powers and realize the strategy of peaceful development.College students,as the most dynamic,passionate and easy to accept new things among social groups,are the core force of China’s economic development and social progress in the future.Patriotic education for college students is a basic project and soul casting project,which is related to the future and destiny of the party and the country.At present,we have entered a critical period to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.It is of great significance to strengthen the patriotic education,especially the patriotic education of college students,for inspiring the national spirit and condensing the national strength.In the new media era,with the rapid development of digital information and Internet technology,the new media forms represented by network media,mobile phone media and digital radio and television are profoundly affecting all aspects of social life.College students,as the most active group in the Internet "original people" and society,bear the brunt of the impact,especially the new network media and mobile phone new media forms,are affecting college students’ daily life and even their inner world with unprecedented breadth and depth.In this context,as a double-edged sword,new media ushers in both opportunities and challenges in the process of College Students’ patriotic education.Therefore,in the new media era,how to combine the new media form and patriotism education of college students is a problem we must pay attention to.This paper defines and combs the related concepts of new media and patriotism education,analyzes the influence and causes of the new media era,especially the network new media on College Students’ patriotic education,and finally realizes the purpose of exploring an effective path to strengthen college students’ patriotic education in the new media era.This study is divided into five parts:the first chapter mainly analyzes the background and significance of this topic,research status,research difficulties,innovation and shortcomings.The second chapter defines and combs the related concepts of new media era and patriotic education,and answers the necessity of strengthening patriotic education in Colleges and universities in the new media era.The third chapter discusses the opportunities of College Students’ patriotic education in the new media era,including four aspects:ensuring the timeliness of patriotic education,enriching the content of patriotic education,broadening the channels of patriotic education and enhancing the initiative of College Students’ patriotic education.At the same time,it also discusses the challenges faced by college students’patriotism education,including disturbing the discourse order of College Students’ patriotic education,challenging the subject status of College patriotic education,weakening the cultivation effect of College Students’ patriotic feelings,and inducing the irrational expression of College Students’ patriotic feelings.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the dilemma of patriotic education,mainly reflected in the impact of non mainstream ideological values,the weak ability of college students to identify the main body,the ideological and political education and the development of the times can not keep pace with the times,the erosion of capital logic to the network public opinion space,and the lag of the construction of Internet patriotism legal mechanism.In the fifth chapter,according to the difficulties and the reasons,combined with the characteristics and advantages of new media,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen the patriotic education in Colleges and Universities:first,strengthen the influence of mainstream ideology discourse.Second,improve the main content of patriotic education for college students.Third,promote the ideological and political course teaching reform and innovation.Fourth,to cultivate the patriotic behavior of college students.Fifthly,construct the legal order of Internet patriotism.
