Research On Patriotic Education For College Students From The Perspective Of New Media

Patriotism is the core of the Chinese national spirit,which inspires countless Chinese people to constantly strive for national independence and national prosperity.As the main force of national and social development,college students’ moral qualities and ideals and beliefs are related to the future development of the country and nation.Carrying out patriotic education is of great significance for establishing a correct worldview,outlook on life,and values among college students,and cultivating new generations of national rejuvenation.In recent years,the further development of the Internet,mobile network communication,and digital information technology has promoted the rapid popularization and promotion of new media platforms and software technology applications in China.Compared to traditional media,new media,with its significant advantages,is increasingly penetrating into the learning and life of college students,subtly influencing their thinking patterns and values.The tremendous impact of new media has brought both development opportunities and serious challenges to the patriotic education of college students.We should attach great importance to and consider how to effectively carry out patriotic education of college students through new media,so that the patriotism and ambition of college students to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation can ultimately be realized in the Chinese dream.The paper mainly includes five parts: The first part is an introduction,which mainly elaborates the research background and significance of the paper,combs the current research status at home and abroad,and analyzes the research ideas and methods,key and difficult points,and innovation points of the paper;The second part provides an overview of patriotism education and new media,explaining the connotation and essence of patriotism education,the meaning and basic characteristics of new media,and the characteristics of patriotism education for college students from the perspective of new media;The third part mainly combs out the patriotism education thoughts from the theoretical level,and analyzes the importance of carrying out patriotism education for college students in the new media environment from the perspective of the era background;The fourth part elaborates the current situation of patriotism education for college students from the perspective of new media,discusses the development opportunities brought by new media to patriotism education for college students from the aspects of timeliness,content,and methods,and analyzes the challenges faced by patriotism education for college students under the new media environment from the perspectives of educators,educatees,educational models,and educational environment.The fifth part is the key point of the paper.Aiming at the challenges faced by current patriotic education,it proposes countermeasures and suggestions from six aspects: educators,educatees,educational content,discourse system,educational carrier,and educational environment,in order to achieve quality and efficiency improvement in patriotic education.
