As an important place for personnel training in China,secondary vocational colleges shoulder the important task of cultivating high-quality workers in society and are an important part of vocational and technical education.It has made positive contributions in promoting economic construction and development,promoting education equity,realizing social stability and promoting rural revitalization.With the continuous development of social economy and the deepening of industrial structure adjustment,how to cultivate a group of high-quality workers is a problem that secondary vocational educators need to consider.With the further implementation of the new curriculum reform,many secondary vocational education scholars continue to explore and practice,trying a variety of teaching methods and teaching means.As a teaching mode developed under the new curriculum reform,project teaching is an effective way to improve teaching quality and teaching efficiency,which is of great significance to improve students’ comprehensive quality and promote their all-round development.This paper takes the first-grade students of early childhood education major of a technical college in Yangzhou as the research object,using action research method,literature research method and questionnaire survey method to carry out project teaching practice and exploration on the course of "Computer Application Basis" in secondary vocational schools.Firstly,relevant literature on project-based teaching is sorted out,and the current research situation at home and abroad is analyzed and sorted out.Then,the concept of project-based teaching is defined,and the characteristics and theoretical basis of project-based teaching are briefly described.After the deep combination of secondary vocational,"computer application basis" course characteristics and teaching needs,the "computer application basis"course in the "presentation" module project teaching design.According to the project design scheme,three rounds of project-based teaching practice were carried out for all the students in Class 201 of Early Childcare Education(Middle),and supervision was carried out during the practice process,relevant data were collected and research conclusions were drawn.Finally,this paper analyzes and summarizes the shortcomings existing in the research,puts forward suggestions for improvement and makes further prospects,and provides new teaching concepts and feasible reference opinions for the reform and further development of computer teaching in secondary vocational colleges at the present stage.The practical results show that the project-based teaching of the "Computer Application Fundamentals"course in secondary vocational colleges has achieved good teaching practice results.This teaching method combines theory with practice,pays attention to the cultivation of students’ multiple abilities,and implements the teaching philosophy of"employment-oriented,ability-oriented,and student-oriented" in secondary vocational colleges.At the same time,the author also found that because students have received test-oriented education for a long time,some students’ active exploration ability and practical hands-on ability need to be further improved to meet the requirements of project-based teaching.This will be a long-term practical exploration process for educators who continue to promote and practice the project pedagogy.
