| Since the 18th CPC National Congress,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to the education of college students’ values and regarded it as a strategic project for the development of the cause of the Party and the state.With the help of network technology and the evolution of social media,post-truth has a profound and extensive impact on people’s lives,subverting traditional values.Under the post-truth background,what are the characteristics of college students’ values education,what are the challenges,and how to improve these problems deserve careful investigation by the ideological and political education workers in colleges and universities."Post-truth" also known as the third reality,refers to social phenomena that intentionally or unintentionally obscure reality or conceal the truth."Post-truth" is emotional,anti-authority and decentralized,which is embodied in information distortion,emotional polarization and value subversion.The causes of "post-truth" are complex and diverse.It is the result of the rapid change of modern society,the divergence of value consensus,the evolution of technology and media,the trend of postmodernism and other factors.The values of college students are closely related to the establishment of a good social order and the success or failure of the socialist cause.Strengthening the value education of college students under the background of post-truth is an inevitable requirement to cultivate the builders and successors of socialism,to carry forward the mainstream values of society and to deal with the value chaos caused by post-truth.The intrinsic logic of post-truth requires that college students’ value education should have the characteristics of combining network with reality,unity with diversity,theory with practice.The breeding and spreading of post-truth has brought severe challenges to the education of college students’ values,which has squeezed the space of real education and polluted the ecology of network public opinion,thus resulting in a complex educational environment.It challenges teachers’ authority in an anti-authority and irrational way,and weakens the teacher-student trust relationship,which leads to a strong impact on the guiding power of value education.It causes the weakening of the rational spirit of college students,the moral imbalance and the confusion of value,which leads to the value confusion of the students.In order to deal with these challenges correctly,the value education of college students needs to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of the school value education from a variety of ways,so as to guide college students to form correct value concepts.First of all,through the construction of harmonious campus and network platform to optimize the education environment;Secondly,through the implementation of education ideas,improve education methods,strengthen the construction of the team to enhance the ability of education guidance;Finally,the content and form of education should be improved by strengthening values education,adding media literacy education and enriching educational practice activities. |
