With the increase of college graduates,the employment situation is getting worse,so entrepreneurship has become a way to alleviate the pressure on employment,and "Entrepreneurship drives employment" has become an important strategy for solving the employment difficulties of college students.As a predictive indicator of entrepreneurial behavior,entrepreneurial intention has become a research focus for scholars.Improving the entrepreneurial intention of college students helps to increase the incidence of entrepreneurial behavior,which is of great significance for promoting college students’ entrepreneurship,alleviating social employment pressure,and stimulating economic development.In addition,entrepreneurial consciousness and entrepreneurial quality are the qualities that successful business managers should possess,are the key concern of enterprise management and entrepreneurship management.Thinking deeply about how to stimulate college students’ entrepreneurial intentions has important theoretical and practical significance.In addition to social and human resources,the role of emotional intelligence in the field of entrepreneurship is gradually being emphasized.The emergence of emotional intelligence makes up for the deficiency of the traditional intelligence,playing very important role in the field of personal life and work.Therefore,taking college students as the research object and adopting theoretical research and empirical research method,this research tries to discuss the influencing factors of entrepreneurial intention of college students from the perspective of emotional intelligence.Firstly,the relevant literature was analyzed to understand the current research status.Secondly,the research model was constructed on the basis of emotional intelligence theory,planned behavior theory and social cognition theory.Thirdly,the data collected from questionnaires were statistically analyzed to verify the impact of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial intention,the mediating role of entrepreneurial psychological capital and the moderating role of perceived social support.The results show that the scores of emotional intelligence,entrepreneurial psychological capital,and perceived social support of the current college students are in the upper middle level.But the score of entrepreneurial intention is low,so it needs to be improved.College students’ emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention,and regulating self-emotion,evaluating others’emotion and regulating others’ emotion have a significant predictive effect on entrepreneurial intention.The higher the level of emotional intelligence,the stronger the entrepreneurial intention.Entrepreneurial psychological capital plays a part of intermediary role in the influence mechanism of emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial intention.Perceived social support plays a moderating role in the influence of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial intention and in the influence of entrepreneurial psychological capital on entrepreneurial intention.On the basis of the above research conclusions,this research puts forward suggestions for colleges students to improve entrepreneurial intention from multiple perspectives,including pay attention to emotional intelligence,improve entrepreneurial psychological capital,increase social support and improve improve comprehension.Combining the individual perspective and social environment perspective,this research explains the influence mechanism of emotional intelligence on entrepreneurial intention in detail and fully,enriches the related study of emotional intelligence,entrepreneurial psychological capital,perceived social support,and entrepreneurial intention.
