Objective: To investigate the relationship between primary and secondary school students’ depression-anxiety-stress status and quality of life and the roles of resilience and social support in the relationship. Methods: In this study,6401 adolescents were surveyed with Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory Version 4.0(Peds QL4.0),Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale(DASS),Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescents(RSCA)and Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS).SPSS21.0 and PROCESS were used for statistical analysis, mainly using t test,ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis, mediating effect test, regression analysis and other statistical methods.Results:(1)Boys scored higher on depression-anxiety-depression(t=2.66,p<0.05),depression(t=4.36,p<0.01)quality of life(t=3.32,p<0.01)than girls.Depression-anxiety-stress(F=45.54,p<0.01),depression(F=37.73,p<0.01),anxiety(F=34.86,p<0.01),stress(F=40.11,p<0.01),resilience(F=32.91,p<0.01),social support(F=13.92,p<0.01)and quality of life(F=45.54,p<0.01)scored significantly different on age.(2)Depression-anxiety-stress was significantly negatively correlated with resilience(r=-0.45,p<0.01),social support(r=-0.30,p<0.01),quality of life(r=-0.51,p<0.01);quality of life was significantly positively correlated with resilience(r=0.44,p<0.01),social support(r=0.29,p<0.01);resilience was significantly positively associated with social support(r=0.48,p<0.01).(3)Resilience could partially mediate the path between depression-anxiety-stress and quality of life, the indirect effect was significant(β=-0.12,CI [-0.41,-0.37]).(4)All the paths of the mediation model could be moderated by social support.Conclusion:(1)Depression-anxiety-stress can produce negative influence on resilience and quality of life. The higher level of depression-anxiety-stress,the lower level of resilience and quality of life.(2)Depression-anxiety-stress can directly influence quality of life and indirectly influence quality of life via decreasing resilience.(3)Social support can alleviate the negative effect of depression-anxiety-stress on resilience and quality of life and promote the positive effect of resilience on quality of life.
