Purpose:Through the establishment of chronic unpredictable stress-induced rat modle ofdepression, research exercise on depression rats’ anxiety-like behavior with brainmitochaondria.Deep study the relationship between brain mitochondrial function and chronicunpredictable stress induced depression,to reveals the inherent relationship betweenmitochondrial disorders and depression.Treatment of depression research helps to develop newideas that can provide the basic improving the symptoms of patients with chronic milddepression, develope therapeutic prescription.Method:2-month-old male SD rats40,randomly divided into four groups:normalgroup, depression group, exercise intervention group,Fluoxetine intervention group. In addition tothe normal group of normal feeding, the other groups received a28-day chronic unpredictablemild stress. From the eleventh day exercise intervention group began treadmill running ofmoderate intensity exercise,continue18days.From the eleventh day Fluoxetine interventiongroup was given fluoxetine through the stomach, also continue18days.Measure the weight onthe experiment beginning day,the tenth day,the28day.Measure the consumption of1%sucrosesolution on the experiment beginning day,the tenth day,the28day.Conduct OPEN-FIELDTEST,and Y maze after chronic stress.Animal was decapitated after behavioralmeasured, removed thalamus, hippocampus and other brain areas embed in paraffin.Slice wasstained, observed the changes of mitochondria in the related areas. Results was follow:(1)Chronic stress causes depression model rats showed weight loss, anhedonia, movement suppression, decreased ability to space exploration, the clinical symptoms of anxietyand depression-like behavior occurs. Unpredictable Chronic mild stress leads to the number ofmitochondria in hypothalamus, hippocampus and other brain regions, reduce the mitochondriaenergy.(2)Rats after exercise, weight loss, anhedonia, decreased appetite, inhibiting movement, decreased ability to space exploration and other clinical symptoms of depression have a certaindegree of ease.Aerobic exercise effectively improve the number of mitochondria in nerve cellsin hypothalamus and hippocampus. The following conclusions:(1)Exercise can relieve chronic stress depression anxiety-like behavior in rats.(2)Exercise can improve the mitochondrial function of hypothalamus, hippocampus andother brain regions, achieve improved chronic stress the role of depression and anxiety-likebehavior.
