| Attention is an important factor for children in the teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages(TCSOL).After investigating the performance of foreign language classroom attention of children from 6 to 12 years old in international schools and interviewing teachers,found that in the TCSOL,the students’ attention concentration time is short,their attention is easily distracted,and the factors that affect students’ attention are more,which lead to the low efficiency of learning Chinese as a foreign language in the classroom.After analysis,the factors affecting children’s attention in Chinese as a foreign language can be divided into external factors and internal factors,including external factors such as classroom layout,Chinese teacher’s teaching method,teaching style and classroom management,and students’ physical and psychological characteristics and their motivation to learn the language.Therefore,this article gives relevant suggestions for teachers,such as changing the teaching concept,understanding the teaching object,using teaching skills,creating teaching situations,enhancing students’ learning interest,improving teaching methods,paying attention to the tone of the lecture,etc.,for students,learning suggestions such as enhancing their physical fitness,attaching importance of Chinese class,cultivating learning interest,improving learning methods,and improving learning efficiency,so as to improve the situation of children’s attention in teaching of Chinese as a foreign language. |
