Thailand is one of the most important business partners of China in the south-east Asia. With the constantly increase of the social relationship between Thailand and China, the enthusiasm of Chinese learning is increasing remarkably as well. Nowadays, Chinese is becoming the second largest foreign language in Thailand.Due to the learning habits of Thai students, the nature of Chinese, the restriction of teaching time for Chinese and the lack of Chinese speaking environment, there are many difficulties in Chinese teaching in Thailand. This research paper firstly found out the reasons for those difficulties and then analyzed those reasons. After this, a series of teaching experiments were designed to confirm that cooperative learning can work effectively in Chinese Teaching in Thai middle schools. In addition, in the hope of do some contributions to the practices of Chinese in Thailand, the detail information of how cooperative learning strategies can be used in real teaching were also listed in this research paper.This paper was formed by five chapters. In chapter one, the research background information, the values and research goals of this research paper were introduced. In the second chapter, the theoretical background informations of cooperative learning were written. In the third chapter, the practical stages of Cooperative Learning were listed. In the forth chapter, the teaching experiment, which included the pre-experiment, experiment and post-experiment, was described. The last chapter is the the future use of Cooperative Learning in the middle school of Thailand.
