The development of the new industrial revolution and scientific and technological revolution in the world today,or the rise of a new round of domestic reforms,have all put new requirements on engineering and scientific and technological personnel.The engineering science and technology talent team plays a core role in China’s industrialization process,affecting the process and competitiveness of industrialization.For Chongqing,engineering and scientific talents are the key to the success of key industries.The intelligent transformation and upgrading of the industry and high-quality development require the support of a rich talent base.However,Chongqing’s current talent supply system is not yet perfect,leading to imbalances in the supply and demand of talents in some industrial clusters and key areas.There is a surplus of talents as well as talent shortages and wastage.Chongqing needs a continuous stream of high-quality,highly-educated projects The input of scientific and technological talents,and the most important way to produce such talents is college education.Therefore,it is necessary to study the influencing factors of employment flow of engineering science and technology-related students in Chongqing universities,analyze the reasons for choosing to stay in Chongqing,and propose specific countermeasures to effectively promote the gathering of engineering science and technology talents in Chongqing universities.This research is carried out from the following three aspects: first,the analysis of the current status of engineering science and technology talents in Chongqing;second,the research on employment willingness and influencing factors of engineering students in Chongqing;third,the proposal is to promote the stay of Chongqing’s engineering students in Chongqing Suggestions on employment countermeasures.Draw the following main conclusions:First,horizontally,the total number of engineering and scientific talents in Chongqing is at a medium level in the country,and the talents are mainly concentrated in industrial enterprises.In 2018,the proportion of college graduates and above in Chongqing’s employed personnel was low,slightly lower than the national average.However,the proportion of undergraduate and graduate students is quite different from that of the other three municipalities,such as Beijing,Shanghai,and Tianjin.Vertically,from 2011 to 2018,the full-time equivalence of R & D talents in Chongqing’s high-tech industries and the number of R & D talents in research and development institutions grew slowly,failing to achieve rapid growth.In the future,Chongqing’s engineering science and technology talent team will be highly educated.There is great demand.Second,as a whole,more than 60% of the students majoring in engineering in Chongqing are willing to stay in Chongqing after graduation;the willingness of foreign students to stay in Chongqing is significantly lower than that of Chongqing;the willingness of graduates from more competitive groups in the job market to stay in Chongqing is significantly higher.Low,of which the willingness to stay in Chongqing for master and postgraduate students is significantly lower than that of undergraduates;the willingness of outstanding students to stay in Chongqing is significantly lower than that of ordinary students.Third,the top three most influential factors for employment of engineering students in colleges and universities are: the development prospects of the employment unit are good,the employment unit provides good development opportunities,and the salary is high;the least valued influencing factors are: more industrial employment opportunities It is easy to change jobs,the majors you are studying are opposite to the job,and the work place is close to home.Fourth,as far as Chongqing is concerned,in addition to geographical and kinship,the main factors that attract existing talents are great development potential and good environmental quality and living conditions;the factors that attract lost talents to Chongqing are high income and attractive talent policies And the level of economic development can lead the country;as far as Chongqing enterprises are concerned,the main factors that want to retain talents are high salaries and benefits,good job benefits,and stable work;etc.The main factors for talent loss in Chongqing enterprises are obvious in other places.Higher salaries,better job benefits and better development opportunities.Therefore,Chongqing enterprises want to attract and retain talents,and must pay attention to improving the external competitiveness of salaries,and at the same time attach great importance to the development of talents.Based on the above research conclusions,put forward suggestions to promote the graduation of Chongqing engineering students to work in Chongqing.
